COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It’s been less than a year since we released our four core beers in cans, and we’re ecstatic to announce a new addition to the flock. This isn’t a seasonal release, like the Autumnation of last fall or Diesel, still going ’round this winter. It isn’t our upcoming spring seasonal can, either. It’s a never-before-released, big beer in a slim, 12 oz. can with a potent burst of hops and as strong as an ox: Resin. We zeroed in on the botanical structure of the hop cone to get to the essence of this beer. When hops are at their peak maturity, their cores swell up with a sticky, golden, resinous substance that is the flavor you crave from an IPA. WIth an IBU of 103 and ABV of 9.1%, Resin can be loosely described as a double IPA — but rarely do Sixpoint beers adhere to any strict style demands.

HaZY orange, frothy thick head, lots of lacing. Very nice hop aroma with bready toasty malt.Complex with fruit floral, spice refined hops pungent dank.Guess i could say resiny? Very pungenty hop flavor/very slight funk but refined with the malt and really its not that bitter Has some lingering grassyness.First ive seen a beer in an energy drink shape can.

From a can. Taste of mildly piney hops. Similar to a DIPA, but has it’s own distinction. Quite nice!

UPDATED: JUL 12, 2014 12oz can from Andersons in Sylvania (I think). Orange pour with a modest white head and sporadic lacing. Aroma is big tropical fruit - pineapple, mango, grapefruit. Tastes are toasty malt, caramel, citrus, herbal, resin, pine. Nice medium palate. Covers the alcohol well - just a little warmth. Good - very drinkable.

Can from Half Time. Pours light amber with a creamy/bubbly white head. Aroma is resin and citrus over a nice light caramel. Med body. Flavor is hoppy - resin, with a decent amount of citrus. There’s a mild resin burn. Clearly this is bitter and hoppy. Not necessarily the same thing, but this time it is. Very good ale.

This beer is freaking delicious - for the hopheads anyway. The aroma is the next best thing to smelling a bunch of hop pellets. Pours hazy gold with a lasting head. Bitter, small malt presence but a clean easy finish. Damn I love this IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Juicy Eastcoast DIPA. Wonderful appearance, aroma, and flavor. A once break from the normal Westcoast consistency.
