COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Itís been less than a year since we released our four core beers in cans, and weíre ecstatic to announce a new addition to the flock. This isnít a seasonal release, like the Autumnation of last fall or Diesel, still going íround this winter. It isnít our upcoming spring seasonal can, either. Itís a never-before-released, big beer in a slim, 12 oz. can with a potent burst of hops and as strong as an ox: Resin. We zeroed in on the botanical structure of the hop cone to get to the essence of this beer. When hops are at their peak maturity, their cores swell up with a sticky, golden, resinous substance that is the flavor you crave from an IPA. WIth an IBU of 103 and ABV of 9.1%, Resin can be loosely described as a double IPA ó but rarely do Sixpoint beers adhere to any strict style demands.

Resin seems to be a lot of itís name . From aroma to taste the Hop flavor and aroma is strong and sticky! Pours a oragish yellow , some what cloudy. nice white head. Nice hop aroma. Taste is of a nice sharp hop, well rounded. Mouth feel is great. Aftertaste bitterness is very nice. Wish I had gotten more than 1 can!!!!!

Flower, citrus, and pine in the aroma. Flavor starts sweet and a little bready. Heavy citrus and pine bitterness in the finish. Lots of flavor but great balance and the alcohol is barely noticeable. Another really good beer from a really good brewery.

On tap at Taco Mac. Cloudy amber pour with foamy head and persistent lacing. Clean hop aroma. Taste is citrusy (grapefuit) and a little soapy. Finish is very dry with the grapefruit lingering on the palate. Not a bitey as I was expecting for 103 IBUs, balanced well with the malt. Overall, an enjoyable DIPA. Sixpoint has a cool video on their website explaining the backstory on this beer.

From the 12oz can. Beautiful cloudy amber with a foamy lasting head. Big clean hops aroma. Full body propels a mellow bitter with some sweetness balanced with salt in the middle. Mellows further to a soft aftertaste. Overall this is a lovely, well behaved DIPA. This will become a house regular.

Lighter, cloudy taste. A little soapy and sweet. Who knew such a bold taste could come out if a little can??

Pours gold with a never ending head of tiny bubbles. Aroma is a field of hops. Medium in body with a creamy texture. A lot of hop bitterness is in the flavor with citrus and just enough sweet malt. Finish is bitter with a bit of an alcohol burn.

Slim can. Medium orange-gold, foamy golden head of long duration and leaving copious sheets of lace. Full marks for appearance. Aroma is sweet orange and pine. Flavour is bitter orange and resinous pine with lovely creamy, sweet malts. Nitaís intensely bitter as Iíd expect from a brew boasting 103 IBUs, but still damn fine drinking.

Tap at Zio Carlo. Pours a clear copper orange color with a very foamy head. Lacing abound throughout the drink. Aroma is earthy hops, slight sweet notes, sap and resin. Leafy notes. Flavor is hoppy and very dry on the finish. Citrus fruity notes as well on the flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a dark golden yellow with a lively, off-white head. Nose is pine and a bit of cat piss. Flavor is piney with a bit of bitter citrus peel. A nice IIPA and certainly the best beer Iíve had from Sixpoint, if not quite in the realm of some of the more noteworthy IIPAs.

Beautiful head after a vigorous pour. Smell is HOPS, and plenty (northern brewer?). Taste is sweet, citrus fruits, pine and hops. A little warm, and slight boozey feel. Definitely a great ipa.
