Pours light amber with a sticky white head. Sweet grapefruit hop aroma. Resiny as the name would suggest. Sweet flavor. A little too syrupy for a canned beer. I feel like it should be a little smoother.

Poured from a can into a snifter. Great lacing, beautiful golden orange color. Nice blend of hoppiness and the alcohol is hidden very well. Would totally buy it again.

Bottle thanks to a friend. Crisp amber pour with a cream head. Nose is fresh hops, sticky fruits, and smooth. Great on the palate, chewy fruits, no sign of alcohol, very smooth, nice finish.

On tap at Battleship. Pours a hazy light amber color with a thin to medium white head. Aroma is of citrus, floral, yeast, and some booze. Gently floral, soft citrus. Dank and resinous, spicy malt and toast. Touch grainy. Long pithy bitterness on the finish.

Picked up a four pack at Giant Eagle in Lancaster, Ohio. Pours a semi-clear golden amber colored brew with a decent sized and rocky off-white head that has some excellent retention and lacing. Aroma of citrus and pine hops. Man, I can pick up the hop scent two feet away from the glass. More aromas of grapefruit, raisin, and some tropical fruit. Taste is full bodied, fruity to the max, with some multi-grain malt and a touch of grapefruit juice. Finish is mildly bitter with more of a citrus and spicy hop aftertaste that slowly disappears. Pushing into the hoppy barley wine territory. I like the Energy Beverage sized can.

Can from Crown Liquors, Indy. Interesting idea to put this in one of those Red Bull-style bullets. Iíd been looking forward to this brew, and confess that I found it an odd and not terribly satisfying big IPA. Fairly cloudy deep orange pour with a nice froth to it, good lacing as well. Nose was a bit "huh?" with its faded fruits, malts, and a fast appearance from bitter hops, like a glove slapped to the face. Mouthfeel was fullish, palate a bit hot. Grass and caramel clashing in the flavors, not so much balanced as opposite corners. It was okay but certainly not especially resinous, piney, or even brightly hoppy at all so much as just heavy and sticky.
