From a can. Taste of mildly piney hops. Similar to a DIPA, but has itís own distinction. Quite nice!

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: JUL 12, 2014 12oz can from Andersons in Sylvania (I think). Orange pour with a modest white head and sporadic lacing. Aroma is big tropical fruit - pineapple, mango, grapefruit. Tastes are toasty malt, caramel, citrus, herbal, resin, pine. Nice medium palate. Covers the alcohol well - just a little warmth. Good - very drinkable.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Can from Half Time. Pours light amber with a creamy/bubbly white head. Aroma is resin and citrus over a nice light caramel. Med body. Flavor is hoppy - resin, with a decent amount of citrus. Thereís a mild resin burn. Clearly this is bitter and hoppy. Not necessarily the same thing, but this time it is. Very good ale.

This beer is freaking delicious - for the hopheads anyway. The aroma is the next best thing to smelling a bunch of hop pellets. Pours hazy gold with a lasting head. Bitter, small malt presence but a clean easy finish. Damn I love this IPA.

Juicy Eastcoast DIPA. Wonderful appearance, aroma, and flavor. A once break from the normal Westcoast consistency.

Can gifted by drabmuh. Tick! Thanks Matt.
The beer is transparent and copper / amber colored with over an inch of thick, tan head. Excellent retention and copious lacing on the glass.
The aroma does indeed offer strong notes of resin, fresh hops, pine. Nice.
A dance of pine, fresh hops, and malty backbone. Pretty well balanced, with the 9.1% abv masked well. Lingering pine and bitter hops in the finish. The beer coats the palate, but still goes down easily. Overall, a solid beer that I would certainly have again.

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Some floral hop aroma, and lingering hop bitterness. Medium amber body, with modest head. Alcohol was especially noticeable in aftertaste. Slim, 12 oz. can was different. Good, but not great DIPA.
