4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
12 oz can. Almost clear amber/orange liquid with firm, big, fluffy white head. Looks inviting and very much as I like my DIPAs. Big, flowery and perfumy aroma of citrus, flowers, grapefruit, pine, caramel, some tropical fruit and biscuity, bready malt. Really nice. Taste is quite dry (maybe light sweet) and medium bitter (expected more from 103 IBUs) with notes of fresh hops and some sweet malt. Very balanced taste, but maybe a bit light bitterness for the style. Medium bodied with nice carbonation and sticky mouthfeel. Really enjoyed this one! Refreshing and balanced.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can. Poured a large smooth head that was mostly lasting, fair amount of lacing, hazy body, fizzy, slow-rising carbonation, and an amber hue. The Aroma was malty, hints of caramel, and pine. The Flavor was mildly bitter, malty, and pine. The Mouthfeel was lightly tingly and this is a medium bodied beer. Overall, some tastes were very malty and took away from the hops, and other tastes the hops were very much upfront. There was a lingering hoppy aftertaste and this beer is worthy of a try.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
12 oz. can from Steveís west in Madison. Pours a semi-hazy copper with a decent layer of white head. Lacing really coats the glass throughout. Aroma is heavy with citrus and floral notes. Tastes like...resin! Not as bitter as I was expecting but a very strong resiny presence that really hangs in the throat. Love it. Great DIPA.

4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sampled from can at Standard Market, Westmont. This puppy zeroes in on the resiny character of every hop, bringing out notes of pine tar if youíre not careful. A deceptively light hop note in the nose, al;so just the same color as the Sweet Action. But a bigger malt backbone, and itís needed, too. A lot of resin sticking on my tongue, my inside cheeks, what have you. If I spill some on me, Iíd be a human Post-It Note.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz can - pours murky orange with thin off-white head and spotty lacing. Nose is pine. Flavor adds alcohol, grapefruit and in there is some caramel malts. Bitter-dominant, but a bit sweet once the bitterness wears off. Sticky indeed with a long bittersweet finish.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz. tall skinny can, best before Jul. 30, 2012. Pours dark copper and slightly hazy amber/red, with a 2-finger creamy orange-tinged head that leaves a thick ring of lacing. Lots of sweet fruit; cherry, red berry, guarana, and some dank pine and citrus notes. Sweet and mild flavor initially, with bitter citrusy and floral hops flooding in afterwards, ultimately finishing with a dry, rosin, sappy flavor. Low to medium carbonation, full-bodied, dry. Nice.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
From the can poured a cloudy copper brew. The malt flavor says "HERE I AM", then the hop flavor says "OK MALT, GET THE HELL OUT OF THE WAY,IíM COMING THROUGH". Full bodied, just the way I like my wimmen, I mean my ales.
