COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It’s been less than a year since we released our four core beers in cans, and we’re ecstatic to announce a new addition to the flock. This isn’t a seasonal release, like the Autumnation of last fall or Diesel, still going ’round this winter. It isn’t our upcoming spring seasonal can, either. It’s a never-before-released, big beer in a slim, 12 oz. can with a potent burst of hops and as strong as an ox: Resin. We zeroed in on the botanical structure of the hop cone to get to the essence of this beer. When hops are at their peak maturity, their cores swell up with a sticky, golden, resinous substance that is the flavor you crave from an IPA. WIth an IBU of 103 and ABV of 9.1%, Resin can be loosely described as a double IPA — but rarely do Sixpoint beers adhere to any strict style demands.

Hops come on strong and pack a punch. Slowly and pleasantly fade to some sweetness. Hoppy sweet aftertaste. Mellow minor head and fairly mellow carbonation. Super drinkable and refreshing considering all the hops. Strong but doesnt slap you in the face too hard ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pour from can, bright amber with great head retention. Very nice complex, full sharp sour citrus nose with some sweetness to give it more body; soft hints of pine and a little bit of that earthy "funk". Grapefruit and piney hop flavor awesomely matched with honey-like malt and ripe citrus to bring it all together. Not over the top, perfectly balanced, very tasty and skillfully crafted IPA!

Slim can to shaker glass. Pours clear amber orange, nice fluffy two finger head, some lacing and retention. Aroma of grapefruit, caramel and light pine. Taste is very bitter but not harsh, nice sweet malty backbone. Medium bodied, lively carbonation, silky mouth feel. Finishes bitter. Tasting notes of grapefruit, lemon, pine, lupulin oils (resin), currants, toffee and spruce tips. Alcohol is well hidden. Very nice double IPA!

Bright orange with one-inch off-white head, frothy and slow-to-fade. Aroma is orange, lemon, flowers, light pine sap, light caramel and biscuit (yum!) Body is medium, oily-syrupy, light carbonation, fine texture, creamy, medium-to-small burn. Flavor is lemon, orange, floral, resin. Some blue and blackberry. Large bitterness and gradual fade over 30 seconds. A very good IPA in a traditional citrus American hop style.

12oz can. Pours a dark golden color with small foamy tan colored head. Aroma is hoppy, with citrusy and spruce notes. Powerfully bitter with grapefruit notes dominating the palate. One for the hop heads, to be sure.
