COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It’s been less than a year since we released our four core beers in cans, and we’re ecstatic to announce a new addition to the flock. This isn’t a seasonal release, like the Autumnation of last fall or Diesel, still going ’round this winter. It isn’t our upcoming spring seasonal can, either. It’s a never-before-released, big beer in a slim, 12 oz. can with a potent burst of hops and as strong as an ox: Resin. We zeroed in on the botanical structure of the hop cone to get to the essence of this beer. When hops are at their peak maturity, their cores swell up with a sticky, golden, resinous substance that is the flavor you crave from an IPA. WIth an IBU of 103 and ABV of 9.1%, Resin can be loosely described as a double IPA — but rarely do Sixpoint beers adhere to any strict style demands.

355 ml can Hazy orange straw color. Thin off white collar. Looks better on swirling. At best a half finger of dirty white head. Big Abv legs and spotty lacing. Nose is full of resin. Duh. Pine, orange, grapefruit and red apple. Pretty vibrant and aggressive. Taste is oddly a lot of apple. Bitterness is more in the mid and back of palate. More like eating a bitter apple in some odd way. Maybe some mango and other tropical fruits as well. Tastes fresh though. A little harsh in the back, not a lot OF balance and the ABV goes to the dome. O Ne 4 pack will suffice here And there.

Can split two ways. Clear copper pour with a medium head. Nose has some tropical fruits and pine needles. Taste is slightly sweet with a hop explosion, grapefruit, mango and some citrus. Refreshing stuff!

Kopparfärgad med litet vit skum. Doftar och smakar väldigt tropiskt med rejäll beska och lite alkoholsmak.

12 ounces can. Thanks Ben. Aroma: pines, grapefruits, tropical cities, citrus, caramel. App: clear copper with small white head and some lacing. Taste and palate: medium to full body, oily, light sweetness, aggressive high and long bitter finish. High carbonation. Overall: nose could be a little less soft, but the mouthfeel is way different, like a punch in the mouth. So tasteful and bitter. Well worth its cheap price.

Pours a clear amber. Nose is pine trees, citrus, a touch of dank hops. Taste starts off very smooth, juicy citrus, hop flavor, then becomes pine resin, moderate to high bitterness on the finish. I like this a lot. It's tasty, and aggressive.

Can at home. Pours a crystal clear copper orange with one finger of off white head. Aroma is strongly orange peel tangerine and some pine. Flavor follows with less orange. Nice malt backbone. Very bitter, maybe overly so. Alcohol was very noticeable. Some burn. Overall, a nice beer.

Can at the Wheaty. Pours clear brown amber with a large but short lived head. Sweet intense nose. Strong fruity sweet taste, clearly a DIPA. I can recommend that one.
