COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Itís been less than a year since we released our four core beers in cans, and weíre ecstatic to announce a new addition to the flock. This isnít a seasonal release, like the Autumnation of last fall or Diesel, still going íround this winter. It isnít our upcoming spring seasonal can, either. Itís a never-before-released, big beer in a slim, 12 oz. can with a potent burst of hops and as strong as an ox: Resin. We zeroed in on the botanical structure of the hop cone to get to the essence of this beer. When hops are at their peak maturity, their cores swell up with a sticky, golden, resinous substance that is the flavor you crave from an IPA. WIth an IBU of 103 and ABV of 9.1%, Resin can be loosely described as a double IPA ó but rarely do Sixpoint beers adhere to any strict style demands.

Dorado limpio y espuma blanca. Aromas de pomelo, pino y resinas. Cuerpo denso con sabor intenso de pomelo pino y final de amargor resinoso equilibrado.

Poured from a 12 OZ can into a pint glass. The appearance is a clear orange color with a medium sized white head. The aroma is fruit and pine in an excellent mix. The taste is hops, fruit and some malt.

Can at Hopyard, april 26th 2016. Golden bosy with a white head. Aroma is piney with grapefruit and pineapple. Sweet and fruity taste, robust bitterness, spicy hop finish. Quite nice!

355ml can. Minimally cloudy, orangey golden to amber colour with average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Resinous, pieny and minimally citrusy hoppy aroma, jelly berry fruitiness in orange and pineapple direction. Taste delivers identical flavours with the same slightly artificial touch of jelly berry fruitiness, enormous hop bitterness is caught by a strong pale malty backbone; works on a high level, but the pattern of malt and hop vibrations has a somehow neutralising interference effect concerning complexity; therfore an amplifying overlay effect concerning alcoholic impact. Whew!

Orange pour topped with an average head which quickly dissipates. Straight forward pine and earthy hops. Quite easy to drink. Nice flavor, even if a bit thin at times. Overall itís a nice drinker thatís upper tier.

On tap @ Randolph. This is a really soft blurry looking one dark golden in color and a nice big almost dense off-white lacing head. Itís really piney and resinous on the nose this, almost birchey. Wood and dust. No doubt that thereís a lot of hops in this. Almost licorice like. Mild oily on the texture and just above average on the carbonation. Red berries, birch and pine in the taste. East to drink. Not too memorable really but good. Went away quick. 18.06.2015

Very yummy ale. Beautiful tropical fruit aromas. Strong but no overpowering bitterness. Donít taste the 9% alcohol. Would drink again.
