4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Flower, citrus, and pine in the aroma. Flavor starts sweet and a little bready. Heavy citrus and pine bitterness in the finish. Lots of flavor but great balance and the alcohol is barely noticeable. Another really good beer from a really good brewery.

Blvd. Tulip glass
A: Poured hard I was able to coax a 1 finger craggy head. Beautiful almost ruby tinted dark orange/gold color with visible bubbles. Very good head retention and average patchy lace.
S: Dry citrusy scent right from the can. Slight hint of wood and sweet pith. Light overall with alcohol peeking through as it warms.
T: Fruity like a sour sweet wine and just about as boozy. Apple. Not sure how to describe the complexities of malt except perhaps woody. Tartness is nice
M: Heavy bodied with lingering foam washing luxuriously over the lips. Not as resinous as expected.
O: This is a beauty to look at in the glass. Strong vinous taste as expected. If all you want is to have one beer, you may be hard pressed to go with one thatís better. Not my style but I find it pretty hard to fault. More aroma would be nice if I must quibble.

Fairly reasonable example of the style, neither too bitter or too sweet. Medium amber with an off white head.

27.09.2015, @beertemple, musluk.
Görüntü: bronz, saydam, köpük dolgun ve bardağı sarıyor. Kalıcı olmasa da çekici.
Koku: malt, kavrulmuş malt, çam, hafif bal. Kompleks, acı-tatlı aromatik kokular müthiş.
Tadım: damakta vurucu, acı bal, reçine, çam yaprağı tatlarının ardından dil ve damaktaki kalıcı acılık çok iyi. Uzun süre damakta tatlar korunuyor.

Keg at Randolph Beer House. First pours of the keg. It pours clear deep amber with a decent off-white head. The nose is sweet, juicy, sticky, piney resin, stewed pineapple, candy and some sherbet. The taste is crisp, bitter, boosty, resinous, pine, oily, grassy dankness, some minerals, brown bread, citrus peel and toffee with a dry, warming finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Must be one of their best.
