3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at the Sybarite Pig in Boca Raton. Tulip. Pours an amber color with a thick white head. Aroma of rye, bread, grass and cereal. The taste was similar with a mild, but defined rye hop and a balanced malt base. Bread and cereal with a grass and slight spruce. Medium body, light carbonation.

Canned (backlog). Hazy ambery brown colour with a small, but longlasting off-white head that also leaves some lace. Aroma is mildly toasted, nutty, some rye as well as quite strong on the floral and fruity side too. Flavour is ryebread, some mild toasted notes, grains as well as some mild fruity and wooden notes as well. Mellow and in a strange way this one was a sipper, but something you just wanted more of.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Can. Light orange Amber, off white head. Aroma and flavour of sweet caramel, bready, a touch thin. Not getting much rye character here. A bit disappointing.

Can from Wine Emporium December 2013. A bit too grainy for me with grain aroma and sweet light malt flavour.

"this was a nice, hoppy brew, but didn’t have nearly as much uniqueness or rye influence as i expected. Pretty nice, though, as a functional ipa (better than their standard ipa easily)."
