BBF Dec/2012. Clear medium to dark red brown colour with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, light nutty, light roasted, light bread - rye, oxidide notes, moderate hoppy, orange - citrus, grass. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm. Cloudy copper colour, small head. Perfumy nose with peach and bubblegum. Mid sweet with medoium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Bready malt behind a thick curtain of perfumy hops. Long bitterness in a finish with some pink grapefruit. Really good modern style ale.

Cask at Rattle ’n Hum, New York
Amber color. Dusty caramel aroma with shades of hops. Smooth, with strong caramel flavor, light roasted malt and rye; the flavor as well is a bit dusty. There is some good hopping. The final, well bitter, gets a bit dry. Good.

9th October 2008. GABF. Clear brown beer - aromatic malt with the distinctive rye taste. Palate is soft but also dry.

Draught at Fette Sau as Righteous Rye. Mildly hoppy aroma, like a mixture of American and German hops. Cloudy dark brown colour. Very small tna head. The flavour starts off nicely roasted, then comes a mild aroma hoppiness. The finish is malty and roasted with a slightly strange tartness. Good nevertheless.
