3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Starts soft and creamy with some obvious carb before turning into a linear driven juicy hoppy cleansing ripe pilsner with a long lingering bitterness. Super refreshing.
Six Point should be proud of this. The march of the American pilsner continues.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can from Linen Hall, Enniskillen
Light golden amber, clear, thin white head
Aroma - soft spicy hops...light herbal notes...some citrus hops...touch of lemon...weirdly getting a slight hint of lime
Taste as aroma...soft citrus....light herbal...bit unusual...touch spicy...quite complex hops for a lager...light sweet pale malt background
Palate - Medium carb, light body, slightly creamy texture, some acidic zest on palate. Finish is dry and crisp(!), lingering soft zest
Overall - Some unusual notes here for a pilsener, especially the hop profile, odd lime and that dry note. It seems to be crossing into APA territory. Overall, it’s a decent pils.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
From can. Pours a very clear amber with a thin white head and lively carbonation. Aromas are light but there’s some lemon, grass and noble hops. The taste starts out with a nice sharp grapefruit bite, before some floral notes, apple juice, hay and cut grass come in. There’s a light sweetness before a flinty dry finish. Really well done pilsener.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
From can. Pours a pale, clean yellow. Thin white head. Clean, grassy smell with some lemon zest and faint sulfur back notes. Taste is grassy with some cracker flavor from the malts, but mostly bitter and sharp. Hits the back of the tongue hard and lingers after swallowing. Think of this as Pilsener+ with everything heightened past expectations. This amplifying is mostly to the beer’s benefit, but the added bitterness might turn away style purists.

Jack is back tasting at Bruce’s. Can liberated from Spoons by Paul - cheers. Very light haze on this gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and airy and slightly dry. Fine carbonation. Floral start goes well with the lagerish malt. Touch of dry violets. Light dry finish with mild bitterness. Quite a floral pils.

Can shared at Bruce’s. It pours pale gold with a small white head. The nose is soft, doughy, citrus peel, candied peel, floral and light must. The taste is doughy, light bitterness, grassy, light buttered bread, metallic twang and some grain with a dry, lightly bitter finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Alright.

Can@the avion, aldridge. Had this while chatting to the brewer about his beers, nice guy who was passionate about his beer. Golden amber beer with medium head. Aroma is floral with pale malts. Taste is hoppy, floral and dry malt. Crisp on the palate as the name suggests. A very good pilsner.
