3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured a clear yellow color with a white head. Head had good retention and some mild lace. Aroma had a nice malt presence. Some nice cereal ad toast notes. Some mild hop notes. Flavor was nice. A good balance between slightly sweet malts and nice toasted malts. Hops seemed to have a mild peppery flavor to the, Carbonation was not overpowering and, it certainly lived up to its name.

2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
23 Aug 2014 can: Wetherspoons in Shrewsbury. Poured into a ’Duvel’ shaped glass. Looks like a lager/pilsner, light golden with the usual white top. Funnily enough it had a crisp feel to the palate but little taste or aroma, some citrus and hop notes but very little of anything else.

Can - Sweet citrus and pale malt. Clear gold with a rich white head. Sweet and bitter fruit, more like an APA. Quite decent and unusual for a pils.

Lightly clouded, with a decent bit of white head. Touch of sour apple, fresh hay. Lightly bitter, some sourness, quite malty. Effervescent, fairly acidic, light carbonation. Nicely balanced, very drinkable.

2.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Decent pilsner lager, nothing to get excited about! Much more flavour than the average lager you get in the UK but I was hoping for so much more than what was delivered

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
16 oz can served in a nonic glass.
Pours light amber in color with a good head that has decent retention butleaves little lacing. Little in the way of rising carbonation bubbles for style. Poor clarity.
Aroma: mixed grains, soft fruits and herbal hops.
Flavor: Fruity for style.
Feel: light body and medium-low, too low, carbonation. Semi-dry finish.
O: a decent pilsner, but compares poorly to the SN/Firestone Walker Beer Camp Torpedo Pilsner that preceded it.
