COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Galaxy represents a “New World” hop character- the potent aroma hits your nose well before you can take your first sip. Brazen passionfruit, mango and papaya come across in the nose and palate in waves. A pleasant, dry finish and light, clean malt bill make this hop-forward brew quite sessionable as well.

2013-08-17. Hazy orange body with a small frothy white head. Aroma is a mild, pleasant hop melange, light citrus character. Flavour is pleasantly bitter, lightly pithy citrus hop melange is less assertive than I would like but still pleasant. 7+ Average bodied palate, modest carbonation. Decent, quite enjoyable but I’d like a bit more of everything. Growler, Campground Brewdown.

Growler at CGBD. Pours gold with a thin white head. Galaxy is a good hop. Light tropical fruits, grassy and lightly spicy. Nice pale malty base to showcase the hops, and an appropriate medium bitterness. Good stuff.

Sampled this at Campground Brewdown 2. Pours a clear golden amber with a thin white head. Spicy citrus and malt. Tangy malt, more spicy citrus. Bright caramel notes, soft malt and spicy into a lightly sweet finish.

16oz on tap at Neons. Was labeled "Sixpoint Galaxy IPA". Totally hazy orange amber color. Thin slightly off-white head. Couple dots and ropes of lace. More full body. Smooth, kind of crisp lighter carbonation. Lightly dry finish. Awesome, tropical fruity, spicy, citrusy hop aroma. Some grapefruit citrus, light pineapple... Hint of banana? Kiwi? I love the complexity of galaxy... Good bigger bitter taste. Light spicy malt. Minimal sweet. Awesome galaxy showcase IPA.

Draft at Pony HK. Pours a light hazy body with white lacing. Aroma is funky hop and wheat. Pretty solid galaxy funk going on. Mouthfeel is on the lighter side of medium with notes of fluffy hops, funk, wheat, lemon and citrus. Nice overall.

Pint at Mudville 9 in downtown Manhattan. Pours golden orange with a half-inch of white head. Strong hop presence, good malt backbone, not too boozy. Solid.

Tap at stagshead. Pours murky orange with pretty pungent hop nose. tastes of crazy odd hops. you get some tropical fruits, and earth, leaves, floral, and malt. But mostly this is all dank hops and that leave an weird taste in your mouth.

Half pour at Hopleaf. The beer looks good, glowing orange with a strong head. It also has all the right characteristics for a good IPA. Malt in the background, nicely clean and neutral. The only downside to this beer is the hops just suck. They got a bad batch or some old hops or something. Smells of cat urine and stale greens fights past the nice tropical fruit galaxy character. Could only drink about half of the half pour.
