Cloudy light amber pour. Light grapefruit and citrus on the nose. Bitter. Middle is Medium malt backbone coupled with a continuation of the citrus. finish is bitter, but not overly so. Good, but not overly so.

(Draught) clear deep gold, fine creamy white head with excellent lacing. Nose is butter, touch of grapefruit rind, biscuit, cream. Taste of butter, grapefruit pulp but not bitter, biscuit, not that hoppy and not super malty, more like a pale ale for me. Medium thick body, prickly Carbonation.

jkwalking05 (3815) - Arlington, Texas, USA - AUG 4, 2014
On tap at WOB in Arlington, TX. Amber with a decent sized off-white head. Aroma is of herbs, black pepper, lemon, pine, and grain. Taste is of pine, light resin, black pepper, good bitterness, and herbal. Both taste and aroma seem. Little subdued.

kidmartinek (3722) - austin, Texas, USA - JUL 7, 2014
Cloudy, opaque ripe apricot color. Aroma is English leather, malt and toffee. So is the flavor. Just like an ESB. A damn gooood one though. Such is the nugget.

DrSilverworm (6575) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUN 10, 2014
Pint on tap at Neons. Mildly hazy orange color. Thin off-white head, with good retention. Leaves good, thicker lace. Medium-plus body, Smooth, kind of soft, lighter carbonation. Lightly slick. Caramel malt. Light piney, light spicy hop flavors. Some light herbal flavors. Moderate bitter taste, light to moderate sweet. Satisfying, interesting single-hop show case.

DuffMan (6886) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 15, 2012
On tap @ Jake Melnick’s, Chicago. Opaque(like milk) ugly diarrhea yellow with a thick white head. Aroma is mostly brewers cereal, but not as hoppy in the nose as I would expect. On the palate the hops are much brighter, but the underlying malts just aren’t right. Sloppy.

Damico (2612) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 1, 2012
Pours unclear golden honey with an orange hue and hugr creamy white head. The aroma brings sweet and juicy citrus like fruit notes, not tart though, smooth. The body is so juicy, way more than expected. Flavors bring smooth hoppiness that settles with a pleasant grapefruit sourness.

   AROMA 7/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 7/10   PALATE 3/5   OVERALL 15/20
Dogbrick (8239) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAR 29, 2012
Sample at Gallo’s Tap Room. The beer pours a mostly clear orange color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Floral hops and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of floral hops, earthy malt and fruit. The finish is sweet up front and leaves a lightly bitter hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

swoopjones (5987) - Buffalo, New York, USA - MAR 19, 2012
Draft at Coles, Buffalo NY. slightly murky golden pour. slighly floral aroma; little else. Flavor is peppery, light jalapeno juice. Hops seemed lost in all the pepper

   AROMA 6/10   APPEARANCE 4/5   TASTE 6/10   PALATE 3/5   OVERALL 13/20
JaBier (4956) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - MAR 13, 2012
Sample at Buckeye Beer Engine on 3/9/12. Clear gold/amber pour with a medium white head. Malty nose with piney and earthy hops along with a hint of diacetyl. Malty nose with a touch of butteriness before a bitter earthy hop finish.
