4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Damico (1914) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 1, 2012Pours unclear golden honey with an orange hue and hugr creamy white head. The aroma brings sweet and juicy citrus like fruit notes, not tart though, smooth. The body is so juicy, way more than expected. Flavors bring smooth hoppiness that settles with a pleasant grapefruit sourness.

On tap @ Jake Melnick’s, Chicago. Opaque(like milk) ugly diarrhea yellow with a thick white head. Aroma is mostly brewers cereal, but not as hoppy in the nose as I would expect. On the palate the hops are much brighter, but the underlying malts just aren’t right. Sloppy.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Dogbrick (5990) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAR 29, 2012
Sample at Gallo’s Tap Room. The beer pours a mostly clear orange color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Floral hops and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of floral hops, earthy malt and fruit. The finish is sweet up front and leaves a lightly bitter hops aftertaste. Decent overall.
