3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Location: Draft at Barcade - Jersey City, 4/5/14, My 400th IPA Rating!
Aroma: The aroma of this one has some lemon, spice, and some light hop notes
Appearance: It pours a clear golden-orange color with a decent amount of head and lace
Flavor: The taste is light sweet, lemony, a little spice, a little bitterness, and a mild tartness
Palate: The body is light-medium, it has an average carbonation, and a decent mouthfeel
This one was just okay in my opinion. Everything was fine, but it just didnít quite get there for me. Itís an okay starting point for a beer, maybe a second pass could make it better.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
20oz pint on tap at Cock & Bull. Mostly clear orange amber color. Thin off-white head. Leaves good, thicker lace. Medium-plus body. Smooth, kind of soft carbonation, just a little sharp, finish is a little abrupt... Texture is a little different, not as smooth as others in this series Iíve had. A little softer and drier. Not much to the aroma here. Some caramel malt, lightly spicy. Not much hop. Old keg? Just a hint of pine, lemongrass, grapefruit citrus. Good moderate to bigger bitter taste, little sweet. Was decent to enjoy with my burger, but doesnít stand up on itís own.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Smells a little hoppy instead of sweet. Its a golden-tinted amber with a good lasting white head. Flavor is mostly hoppy and.sorachi is underplayed. Refreshing bite. Good beer.

More personal preference than how the beer is made, but I just didn't like it.
