Pours a murky orange-golden color with no head--likely the result of being too gently served in the pint glass. Faint nose. Smooth, wet texture. Mild flavor. Biscuit, orange flesh, and lemon zest. Lingering mild bitterness after the finish. Quaffable IPA.

Location: Draft at Flying Saucer - Houston, 5/14/14

Aroma: The nose of this one has some citrus fruit, grass, and earthy hops
Appearance: It pours a yellow-orange color with a thin off-white colored head
Flavor: The taste works nicely, it is a little fruity, some sweetness, and a nice hop bitterness
Palate: The body is medium, with a crisp, clean feel, and a medium dry finish
Overall Impression: I liked this one. I like the way the pacifica hop plays here. I canít say Iíve had too many single hop beers that use pacifica, but I liked this and it would lead me to wanting to try more.

Orange golden with a sticky white head like egg white. The aroma proclaims a nutty note. The flavor is bitter, nutty, thick and sticky, yeah like egg white (one not plural).

Fresh growler shared by DrSilverworm. Pours a hazy golden orange color with a medium sized, but quickly disappearing white head. The aroma is sweet, citrus, juicy somewhat tropical fruit, caramel malt, at times almost candy like sweet, some floral notes as well. The flavor has some tangy citrus, fruits, more malts than the nose indicated, dry, some bitterness; just ok.

7/19/2013 and 7/21/2013: Sixpoint Spice of Life (Pacifica) - This is a damn fine and super tasty IPA. I could drink it non-stop for gallons and gallons. Okay, maybe Iím getting a bit ahead of myself, so letís go back to the beginning... This beer has a hazy golden color with a nice, fluffy off-white head. The aroma seems a bit muted, but thatís probably because Pacifica isnít an overly assertive hop. Regardless, I really like the distictly floral notes along with the light citrus, melon, and spiceness that comes along with this hopís "Noble" pedigree. The flavor is packed with layers of Pacifica hop goodness layered on top of a toffee maltiness. This beer is bitter sweet due to the dominate Orange maramalde flavor from the hop and moderate underlying toffee maltiness. However, plenty of floral hop flaor and notes of soft citrus peel and grass can also be found. Overall, this is a fantastic English-style IPA that is truly delicious and under-rated! I really appreciate this beer.

Draught (sample and growler fill) at The Party Source in Bellevue, KY. Rating #12 for this beer.

Growler sample. Poured a hazy orange copper color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate citrus and earthy malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. My expectations where met.
