1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Can poured into a pint glass. Immediately just a not-good beer. Sickly maltiness, a sort of grainy puddle of a beer, with an intolerable astringency that recalls chewing on a teabag steeped in body odor. To call this a "harmonious balance of sweet and bitter" is like throwing a cat at a harp and calling it a harmonious balance of fluffy and melodic. Sort of.

4.8 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
The glib poetry on the side of the can sums it up pretty well; this beer is sweet and hoppy and all-around tasty. I prefer it on tap, especially locally in NYC, but it's pretty awesome that it comes in 16 oz cans in the store.
