Interesting cream ale. It has a light aroma. It has a pleasant golden color. The flavor is not very complex. It starts with a sweet fruity taste, but has a bitter finish. I was not expecting the finish to be as bitter.

From a can. Pours cloudy orange with a foamy white head, fruity citrus hops aroma, creamy mouth feel, some crisp fruity flavours and a lingering bitterness. Very nice.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can from Linen Hall, Enniskillen
Dark orange, hazy, off white frothy head
Aroma - pine hops, soft herbal bit grassy notes, hint of orange zest, touch of orangey caramel malts
Taste of piney hops, bit grassy herbal hops, soft bitter orange, caramel malts. Flavour goes flat in the middle
Palate - soft carb, medium body, smooth texture. More bitter than sweet. Finish as main flavour, bit dry, quite rapid, fairly bitter tail
Overall - I didn’t enjoy this as much as the Crisp. Found it rather dull. Bit disappointing.

Can at JDW Hounslow, cloudy amber-orange with a lasting fine head and a clean light citrus hoppy nose. Juicy malt and drying hoppiness, floral and citrus, creamy, but less sweet than the name promises. Very nice, though quite short bodied.

Can @The foot of the walk, Leith. Pours golden with a thin white head. A nice nose, citrus fruits and toffee. I just did not get the sweetness on the tongue it was just bitterness for me.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
BB 08Apr14 Amber in the glass with a yellow-beige head. Very flowery hoppy nose. The beer starts flowery-hoppy. This nice aroma ends very quickly, the mainpart is smooth, slightly sweet, easy to drink. The flowery hops are in the background. I suppose that a cream ale must taste like this, as my last one was very bad…
The aftertaste is smooth-malty-sweetish with nice hop bitterness and nice floral hops coming back again.
Cream Ale won’t be my favourite style, but nice to see that there are drinkable versions of it. --> 10/12/9/9

Poured from a can in Wetherspoon’s bar into a tulip like glass. Orangey colour with nice head. Sweet and creamy but with a bitter finish. Very enjoyable beer that leaves you wanting more. Well done to Wetherspoon’s for bringing us this.

Can at Square Peg, Birmingham. Really enjoyable. Great carbonation, sweet hopped arome. Great, thick mouthfeel, with bright and breezy flavour. Didn’t really twig that it were a Cream Ale, thought it were an APA - but in retrospect the added sweetness and smooth gobfeel should have given the game away. Liked.
