Ah love is bitter and sweet, but which is more sweet, the bitterness of the sweetness, none has spoken it.

Sweet action is an idea; a concept. It is a simple representation of what makes beer great - the marriage of barley and hops in a harmonious balance of sweet and bitter!

Growler from Duane Reade. Weak aroma. Nothing noticeable other than a trace of hops. Beautiful deep gold with lasting head. sweet initially, but very well balanced. hops match well, nothing overwhelming, neutral on the palate. (had some with sushi, and it paired well). I enjoy the sweetness and balance. i’ll definitely have this again.

Not a bad beer. Nice smooth mouth feel with caribbean fruit flavours. I do think it could do with adding more hops to intensify the flavours.

Can at the Moon Under Water (JDW), Watford on 9 March 2014. Poured a cloudy orange with a dense, white head and excellent lacing. Aroma of tangerine, straw and hop resin. Initial flavours of gentle soft fruit, flowery notes and some grassy hop. Finish was chewy malt, light hop resin and marmalade.

Bue à la pression. Arômes dominés par les agrumes (citron/orange). Amertume modérée typique des bières américaines. Fraîche et correctement équilibrée.

Can at JDW. Served way too cold! Hazy, orange colour. Beautiful creamy head. Very good lacing. American hops dominates the aroma. Taste is a little disappointing, medium short bitterness. Leave the can to warm up if you want to try it at the Spoons.

355ml Can from Crystal Palace Wetherspoons, Glasgow (£2.49):
Sweet malts & some subdued hops on the nose although the smell is definitely a very light on with only a few faint floral notes, some light caramel and even fainter still, some sweet fruits too.
Caramel amber in colour with a thumb-sized, foamy white head that seems quite creamy once it settles. Some lacing & good retention.
Sweet with some malts that hint at caramel, some sweet fruits and a touch of bitterness coming through. There is some further caramel & biscuit flavours with a few lager hops.
Creamy but with a thinner body than I was expecting, it was probably light medium at best but it was exceptionally smooth and quite easy to drink with low carbonation and a wet finish.

Average but drinkable with the sweet and creamy feel being a highlight for me. The main problem was that both the taste & the smell seemed too light and basic for me. I’ll stick with Bengali Tiger over this one every time.

The smell is more promising than the taste. Cloudy! Do the yanks not know how to make a clear beer. As a designer I love the packaging but ultimately disappointed as an ale lover ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Had this on tap at Butter NYC. This beer is not a cream ale in my opinion. The malt side of the equation is spot on to the style, but the hops are all wrong. Ok beer as a whole.

Can. Hazy orange pour with a big white head. Jammy, berry and pine. Medium body and easy to drink with a slightly fruity finish

Orangy red haze. Some foamy off white head which fades. Fizzy to start but largely dominated by pine element to the the tongue and nose. Quick prickly end.

Can, at home, from Wetherspoons. Hazy orange. Thin but tight, lasting, off white head. Raspberry jam. Grapefruit juice. Hint of vanilla ice cream. Taste is light, pithy bitterness. Whisper of the jamminess on the palate. Dry, light bitter finish.
