3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tasted from can at Standard market, Westmont. A darker gold color than the Crisp pils. Smell is much lighter, almost hard to find. But the taste more than makes up for it. Kind of citrusy, like a pale ale at first. Then a slight spicy note of wheat malts.

Can @The foot of the walk, Leith. Pours golden with a thin white head. A nice nose, citrus fruits and toffee. I just did not get the sweetness on the tongue it was just bitterness for me.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
BB 08Apr14 Amber in the glass with a yellow-beige head. Very flowery hoppy nose. The beer starts flowery-hoppy. This nice aroma ends very quickly, the mainpart is smooth, slightly sweet, easy to drink. The flowery hops are in the background. I suppose that a cream ale must taste like this, as my last one was very bad…
The aftertaste is smooth-malty-sweetish with nice hop bitterness and nice floral hops coming back again.
Cream Ale won’t be my favourite style, but nice to see that there are drinkable versions of it. --> 10/12/9/9

Poured from a can in Wetherspoon’s bar into a tulip like glass. Orangey colour with nice head. Sweet and creamy but with a bitter finish. Very enjoyable beer that leaves you wanting more. Well done to Wetherspoon’s for bringing us this.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can at Square Peg, Birmingham. Really enjoyable. Great carbonation, sweet hopped arome. Great, thick mouthfeel, with bright and breezy flavour. Didn’t really twig that it were a Cream Ale, thought it were an APA - but in retrospect the added sweetness and smooth gobfeel should have given the game away. Liked.

Beautiful to look at. Perfect in fact. Orange with a lovely head and a hint of floaters. Citrus sweet and some spice and altogether very very nice.

Can from the White Lady JDW. Pours an amber haziness. Nice aroma of pine hops. Tastes bitter & sweet in balance with a nice creamy palate. Refreshing. A simple session brew. Decent no doubt. Humble. A beer to go with uncomplicated food I reckon.
