COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ah love is bitter and sweet, but which is more sweet, the bitterness of the sweetness, none has spoken it.

Sweet action is an idea; a concept. It is a simple representation of what makes beer great - the marriage of barley and hops in a harmonious balance of sweet and bitter!

Sure doesnt smell like a cream ale, like sticking my nose in a hop bin, defintely more American Pale Aleish,,a successful dry hopping procedure, that pretty much dominates the nose. Taste is however totaly unlike the aroma, here you get a straight balance of grain malt and grain hop, then hop bitterness in finish, That balanced blend is then washed from the palate almost immediately after the swallow, very mysterious how that happens. I take it this is supposed to be a surprising mix of malt sweetness(hence that Cream ale designation) and hop bitterness, but that quick ghostly appearance and disappearance of the malt ,makes a style assignment impossible. Very drinkable, session type, would go great with a spicey sweet salsa

Taster pour at Craft Beer Race New Haven. Appearance is light brown, like a root beer candy, tiny head and lacing, no sparkle. Aroma is malty. Taste is mildly like wort--somewhat unfinished--but mix of malt and herbal hops. Palate is medium bodied with average-to-thick texture, soft carbonation and finish like taste. Overall, pretty mild and simple. Some conflicting tastes that don’t work so well and seems a bit unfinished.

On tap at Darby’s, pours a hazy orange amber with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out quite a lot of resinous hops and light caramel malt - sure smells potent for a cream ale. Flavour is more malty, with caramel bready malt, some strange cardboardy notes, and fairly aggressive resins. A cream ale on steroids. Not the most pleasant but it’s certainly more interesting than most in this boring style.

Ámbar limpio y espuma marfil. Aromas suaves de malta, ligero caramelo, cítrico. Cuerpo ligero, con inicio maltoso suave que da paso a un sabor cítrico breve y un final seco.

Copper color with a thin head. Aroma like orange marmalade. Moderate orange and caramel flavor. Fairly solid bitterness. Touch of barley. A bit of vegetal hop on the finish. Dry. Full body. Didn’t expect much going in, but this is really nice!

355ml can. Barely clear amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Fruity hoppy aroma has a touch of red currant, a middle layer of artificial cherry, some caramel, a minimally leafy-herbal touch. Taste is fairly bitter hoppy, slightly fruity, minimally artificial and sugary notes of red fruit, red currant, cherry, minimally sweet caramel malty basis. Due to the low number of ratings in this style, I’m still in search of Cream Ale characteristics. This comes along as a cleaned and sweetened British Bitter.

Pours an amber body with a medium head. Nice hoppy aroma. Taste is a bit too bitter for a saison and the hops are too dominant.
