Ah love is bitter and sweet, but which is more sweet, the bitterness of the sweetness, none has spoken it.

Sweet action is an idea; a concept. It is a simple representation of what makes beer great - the marriage of barley and hops in a harmonious balance of sweet and bitter!

Sure doesnt smell like a cream ale, like sticking my nose in a hop bin, defintely more American Pale Aleish,,a successful dry hopping procedure, that pretty much dominates the nose. Taste is however totaly unlike the aroma, here you get a straight balance of grain malt and grain hop, then hop bitterness in finish, That balanced blend is then washed from the palate almost immediately after the swallow, very mysterious how that happens. I take it this is supposed to be a surprising mix of malt sweetness(hence that Cream ale designation) and hop bitterness, but that quick ghostly appearance and disappearance of the malt ,makes a style assignment impossible. Very drinkable, session type, would go great with a spicey sweet salsa

28.7.2014. Hazy orange, brown head. Heavy sweet aroma with fruits, toffee. Taste is very malty, fruity with hops, sweet caramel. Smooth, foamy. Bitter finish. Bittersweet, as they say.

Crazy 4 finger off white head that lingers for a while. Medium orange in color. Hazy with visible yeast sediment. Aroma is floral w/biscuity malts and citrus hop notes (Orange and Grapefruit) The taste is complex, but good. In the taste im getting sweet mandarin, grapefruit, pineapple and biscuity/caramel malts. The beer is sweet without being cloying. There is also a slight bitterness at the end from the citrus hops. This beer is extremely sessionable at only 5.2% and is very enjoyable. I will stock up on this beer whenever I come across it.

Pretty happy for style. Not a huge amount of cream here, has more of an amber ale feel. Pours orange without much head or lacing. Light bitter finish. Some citrus and rust. Tap at Black Squirrel.

Nice Amber color. On the nose, malt sweetness with a little hop spiciness. Pick more of this on the first taste, with toasted maltiness. Strong beer.

Can to tulip. Pours a somewhat hazy Amber with a fluffy white head. It smells like malty sweetness and citrusy hops. Taste is nicely balanced sweet and bitter. Decent citrus as well. Overall a solid beer. Would be a good barbque beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

1 pint can at home. Poor head retention. Sweet and a little bit too flat. Okay to drink but wouldn’t by another can.

I guess my exposure to a Cream Ale has been limited to Genny Screamers and Little Kings. First one went down a little weird, but I really liked it as I got to the end of the 6 pack. I think the thin Red Bull cans are clever. Promotes faster drinking. Good beer. Want to try something heavier by this crew.

Tap at Beer Authority, New York. Colour is clear orange with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, citrus, some hops and malts. Little bit of soapy. I don’t know is this the point of cream ales.
