Cocoa - not chocolatey aroma with pepper premonitions. Hops are missing or masked by the leathery yeast. Color like a black hole. No light can escape it. Taste is a balanced combination of sweet and bitter with the slight tinge of hot peppers. Not as full bodied as the appearance suggests, and the creamy, lively palate feeling ends with a nice long finish. Overall, a good but unusual beer. Not for everyone, but if you like this combination of hot peppers and cocoa, you’ll be in heaven!

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Near black, brief head. Aroma of chilli and ginger. Sweetish with medium body and clean hard mouthfeel. Mostly chili and ginger flavour, notes of plastic. Moderate chili burn in the finish. Simplistic and shallow.

Clearish black with no head after about 5 seconds. Quite a nice aroma of smokey chocolate, a slight peppery chili vegetal heat, and slightly burnt toast. Flavor is nice and smooth with very fine carbonation and a balanced body. Flavor starts with some bittersweet dark chocolate, toast, caramel, and roasted chilis that lie kinda quiet and just accent the beer without dominating the sweetness. Slight cinnamon tone throughout. Found this quite lovely.

Pours black with brown frizzy and quickly disappearing head. Strong chili aromas, spices, dark malts. Hmm dont know where this will end. Too much chilies in aroma. Sticky almost ginger bread like taste. Watery, low bodied, low to medium bitter. Chilies sticks around for a while. Too much to be frank. Palate wise nothing special either.

Smells like trash, interesting but awful taste (lots of chocolate, chili and spices but nothing that comes together), no head, descent texture.

Can from wchesser, thanks Will. Aroma has notes of smoke, chile peppers, coffee and roasted malts. Very dark brown that sits black in the glass. No head and no lace. Flavor is medium sweet and lightly bitter. Palate is medium bodied and watery soft. Overall it achieved exactly what it set out to do. Only problem I have with it is I think it’s disgusting. I will admit the aromas are complex and well blended but I don’t know why anyone would want to drink something like this. Freaking gross!

Canned. Poured deep brown with a tall, short-lived khaki head. The aroma picked up fresh, green, peppers and cocoa (some hotter spices too).. a hit of vanilla on the back.. interesting. The flavor found toasted black malt and cocoa at the core, with fresh peppers, nutmeg, and cinnamon throughout.. finished spicy with fairly generic roasted malts. Medium-bodied with a lot of spices on the palate.. ok feel and flow.
