Black, with a loose white head. Smells like chocolate and cinnamon. Chocolate and cinnamon flavor, too. I’m gonna say pralines? Is that an acceptable descriptor?

330ml bottle. Pours a slightly hazy dark brown, with almost no head. Spicy, peppery aroma, roasted malt, cocoa, vanilla, peppers, coffee, licorice. Off-dry, medium body and bitterness, low CO2. Spicy, sugary taste, cocoa, chocolate, chili peppers, coffee, caramel, roasted malt. Slightly sugary, quite hot, a bit robust. (2013-01-18)

@ Basunen: mycket kryddig doft. Stor toner av pepparkakor och ingefära. Smaken är ganska söt men vätskan är verkligen tunn. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Black with a dark brown tinge, the head is sizzling and disappears quickly. Aroma: wood, cocoa, coffee beans, light acetone, chili peppers eventually. Taste: medium hot chilis with cayenne and ancho in the finish, cocoa, light licorice, some cream, vanilla. Woody, dry finish. Medium bodied. For me, this isn’t too bad, but not completely successful.

The head on the pour fades fast, most pepper beers do for me. The body is a dark brown, translucent near the edges. the aroma is mostly dry chocolate with just a whisper of peppery spice, the pepper doesn’t come through a whole lot. The flavors have more of the pepper but it presents less as a hot heat and more as a soft accent that breaks the chocolate down and makes it dryer and powdered flavor, really adds a neat flavor without any heat. This one might be good for someone who normally doesn’t like pepper beers. I’d buy a 6er again.

Pours a deep umber color with a three finger bubbly mocha head that fizzes out quickly. ON the nose there is a warm chocolate spice with hints of poblanos, cinnamon, cola and a touch of smokey chipolte. On teh palate it is creamy and smooth with a heavy sweet chocolate backbone that opens into a warm peppery spice that is well balanced and inviting. The finish continues with chocolate and caramel and a sneaky lil heat on the very tail end is a perfect ending. Nice beer !

Pours black with little head which disappears quickly. Aroma is kind of chocolate lay. Taste is horrible and gets worse as it lingers in your mouth. Maybe the worst beer I've ever had. Undrinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Undrinkable. The color is dark. The taste is acceptable at first, but it lingers with a foul taste of something old and peppery.

Almost black, no head. Aroma of finger and cocoa. Light gingery taste. Light bitterness at the end.

Black with no head at all. Aroma... Burned wood?! And chili. Worst beer so far !
