Pours a thin black with almost no head. Aromas of Mexican food, chocolate roast and peppers. Goddamn, this thing smells spicy. First sip... Reveals way too much chipotle pepper. Fuck, this is hot. And not in a good way. Shit. I really wanted to like this beer, but the pepper is just too much.

Pours dark brown with no head. Aroma of chili and chocolate. Same with flavour. Lost of carbonation and almost a bit thin for this flavour and style. Somewhat disappointing.

Tastes like a chocolate Stout with a chili pepper bite. Great with fresh street tacos. I probably wouldn’t drink more than one or two at a time.

Jet black, but a coca cola head. Fizz, gone. Beany beany aroma, both coffee and chilli beans. Quite a watery palate, crisp lovely balanced chilli pepper taste, fits in very well with th lovely roast. Nice coffee aspects too. Finiah is interesting, itstarts with a nice gentle chilli heat, then after 10 seconds a lovely stale coffee grounds roast takes over. As that fades, the chilli doesn’t leave you, It doesn’t pester you, but it comforts youand lets you know you’re not alone.

Poured from can. Dark black. Thin tan head . Very complimentary flavors of cocoa nibs and slightly hot peppers. Much more unsweetened cocoa flavor than a chocolate flavor. I’m a fan of this. Might be nice if it was a hint heavier (add oats?)

A decent stout with a mild pepper finish. I am not usually a pepper beer drinker but this is an exception

Can:   Black, deep cola hues on the edges, thin head, little to no lacing.   Soft roasted malt nose with a balanced pepper or chiles on the nose.   Sweet roasty start, with a little pepper background.   No real heat, perhaps a touch of chile spiciness that emerges moreso on the backside.   Seems well balanced between the sweeetness, the roasted malts, and the chile flavors/heat (what heat there is, and thankfully very little).   Moderate to full body and mouthfeel.   Chiles and a little bit of peppery heat linger.   Better than expected!

Can thanks to thirdeye11. Poured a dark brown with no head at all. Taste of peppers, coco, spice. Watery and slick on the palate. A very unique brew

0.355 l bottle at Vihreä Haltiatar, Jyväskylä. Dark reddish brown color with instantly vanishing head. Slightly sweet woody cocoa and chili aroma with perfumed spiciness (cinnamon and clove). Taste of cocoa, licorice, cola, black pepper, clove, cinnamon and peppermint. Medium body, slightly woody palate with long lasting tingling spiciness. Chili tastes clearly but heat is low, nice. Quite complex. 1/2 feels good amount to drink, full bottle alone is a bit too much.

In smelling the beer, the first thing I noticed was the smell of peppers. You can also taste them. The color is deep and dark similar to the color of Guiness.
