COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This Brown Ale has a touch of nuttiness provided by our good friends Mr. and Mrs. Victory and Munich Malt. The addition of Northern Brewer, Cascade, and Willamette hops smooth this beer out to create an incredibly drinkable Brown Ale.

[Tap - J-Bar Aspen Colordao] Had this great brew at the J-Bar. It was awesome. Thick deep rich brown color. Loved the aroma and the flavor was also very good. Deep rich malt flavor and a hint of spices thiswas a great beer for the night. Good Brew by SKA.

I have to say I really liked this one. Brown with no head. Caramel and malty aroma and flavor. Nothing to complain about here.

Hints of nuts and lots of caramel malts in the aroma. Pours a reddish brown with off white head that dissipates quickly. Malty with dark malt flavor. Sweet and easy drinking. Leaves a sweet aftertaste. Straight forward brown ale with no flaws, but now depth either. Decent.

Purchased at the local World Market. The aroma is standard brown ale with hints of toffee and caramel. Pours an amber with a thin, tan head. Taste is on the sweet side, with strong characteristics of caramel and a little hazelnut. Sounds weird, but I tasted a little banana as well. Smooth on the palate with a smooth, malt finish. Solid brown from Ska.

In bottle at home. Pours a chestnut, ruby brown colour with a decent beige head. Aroma of toffee, treacle, candy sugar and alcohol. Similar toffee, coffee and candy sugar flavours. Definitely nailed the style.

Draft pint at The Royale. Pours a clear, deep brown with an inch-thick, creamy, resilient beige head. The aroma is pretty light, with notes of nuts, tree bark, roasted caramel malts, and toast. The flavor really picks it up, with a big toasty taste, nuts, earthy hops, roasted caramel malts, and brown sugar. Toasty, malty mouthfeel, medium-bodied, and smooth carbonation. Smooth and sessionable, this one goes down so easily. Very nice brown ale, and sorely underrated.

Draft chips obx, dark copper color. Lots of nuttiness and some caramel aroma. Med sweetness, soft carbonation, med/lite body. Smooth easy drinking, but the flavor is there. Caramel, nuts, on the taste also. Like it. Finishes with a slight bitter.

Bottled@chriso. Copper colour, small brown head that vanishes quite fast. Aroma is caramel malts, nuts and peanut butter. Flavour is nutty, caramelly, sweet wooden and some mild toffeeish notes.

Maybe it's just because I tweaked my back and this is acting as "medicine", but I think I like this more than any brown I've had in a long time. Great caramel flavor without being too sweet. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
