COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This Brown Ale has a touch of nuttiness provided by our good friends Mr. and Mrs. Victory and Munich Malt. The addition of Northern Brewer, Cascade, and Willamette hops smooth this beer out to create an incredibly drinkable Brown Ale.

Good color, good flavor. Like other posters, not much aroma and the flavor doesn’t last very long. An average nut brown.

On tap at a bar. Looked a lttle cloudy to my eye. Carbonation was on the low side. A brown brown. Not too bitter. I'm not sure if the cloudiness was the beer or the bar. I'd like to try it somewhere else ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A very average brown ale. It has a bit of nut taste to it but in general it is just well. Average. Thin fading head. Nice nut aroma. Okay on tongue for ABV, sweet. Not bad solid average.

Bottle from Sake Taniguchi (World Beer Market). Thin roast malt nose, light prunes, brown sugar, and some tobacco. Brown/amber color. Mild roasty initial, light fruity mid, with raisins and cherries, and small toffee notes. Thin body. Nice nose, indeed. Flavors are all gentle and unexciting (... it is THAT style).

Pours very dark, medium head. Smooth, rich nut brown ale. Slight coffee/coacoa aftertaste.

Bottle to pint glass. Not much head. Clear brown. Nutty and coffee nose. Nice hazelnut flavor. Finish is not as smooth as other nut Browns I’ve had. Medium body easy to drink.

"Bottle-from memory, this one is lacking. Having only had the hoperandi, which is pretty damn good, before this one, I had high hopes. The nuttiness is there as is lightly roasted malts and a little chocolate. All the right pArts, but it just doesn’t come Together as well - a little boring"

On tap @ Provisions Market. Light brown pour with a small khaki head. Chocolate syrup and club soda on the nose. Yum... Light roast, some coffee grounds, and maybe some toffee. Flavor is basically like a soda. Very watery, though... Carbonic. Some roast, coffee grounds, dirt, and a bit of toffee sweetness. Some walnuts and cocoa powder. Meh.

Pours a light chestnut brown with a thin tan head. Aroma is of toasted malts, caramel, nutty malts, light coco, and some light hops. Taste is about the same as the aroma. Has a medium body with a semi watery mouthfeel and a mostly sweet, medium-short finish. Overall, a rather lackluster brown ale from a brewery I expected more from,

Flight at bottlecraft. Dark amber with a light head. Malty and roasty. Pretty light.
