on draft the medium brown color poured with large frothy head and it lingers for a bit. the aroma of nuts, malts caramels dominated the glass. something like i would make but the flavor was a little twisted. not matching the aroma. you could taste the malts and caramels and a little nut flavor. just didnt seem to match but it was decent enough.

Deep brown with a thick cream head. Nose is malts, sweet, nutty, and caramel. Decent on the palate, flavors or caramel, light malt, dough, and a nut finish.

Pours a brown color with a huge tan head and almost a gushing bottle. Aroma of toffee and other lighter malts. Astringent malty flavor includes some chocolate and possibly some sweet hazelnut or vanilla. Light palate and very overcarbonated. Maybe I had a bad bottle, but I was rather disappointed.

Bottle at the sugar land saucer. Really unimpressive. Clear brown with a fast fading beige head. Mild aroma of toast, sweet malt and faint nuts. Taste is malty, soapy, watery and slightly metallic. Medium-thin bodied, a little creamy and watery. Glad I didn’t get a six pack.

Bottle as shown at Flying Saucer. Pours a clear amber with a medium frothy off white head that leaves sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is Light roasted malt and nuts. Medium mouthfeel with a rich malt with caramel and raisin. Easy to drink, a good brown ale frkm SKA.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Cavie (3249) - Fort Worth, Texas, USA - NOV 7, 2011
Bottle from Central Market. This beer pours a clear brown color which is a dark brown with touches of red. The head is tan and foamy.
Aroma is caramel sweetness with a nutty nose. Slight roast and bitter. A decent nose.
Flavor is a dry nutty taste with a roasty finish. A bit too dry I would say.

Sample at KC Beerfest 10-22. Comes brown with an average biege head. Aroma of caramel, malt and toffee. Taste is sweet malt, caramel and just a bit of hops. Not too exciting.
2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 Swalden28 (2541) - McKinney, Texas, USA - OCT 18, 2011
Bottle. Pours clear dark brown with almost no head. Aroma of nut and dirty chocolate. Flavor is not so good in my opinion, several off flavors such as vegitable, bandaid, some nut, medicinal and a certain alcohol spice that just shouldn’t be there. Medium body and kinda watery with high carbonation....overall, taste like a poorly made homebrew. Extremely disappointed!
