Lacking nothing, at ten percent alcohol by volume and 95 International Bitterness Units, the Decadent truly represents all that is self indulgent when it comes to drinking beer.

[On-tap at SKA] Dark gold with a small white head. Taste is very sweet with a good amount of alcohol present. Honey, grapefruit, and some lemon in the background. Hard to finish even a sampler, so I can’t imagine trying to drink a whole glass or bottle.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Clear amber. Film, and halo, of sticky, lasting, white head. Dank, jammy, spicy hop. Fruity, and boozy. Taste is unctuous sweet. Turns chewy, rich, bitter. Rich, smooth, nicely boozy palate. Finishes long, full, fruity bitter. Never loses the sweetness. Big beer. Liked this a lot.

Rated based on notes taken 24 Apr 2012 -- Poured from a waxed bomber while at IFS. I really liked this as an imperial beer. Didn’t quite get the great hop character out of it. Still, an overall delish beer.

Cool Grateful Dead like label. Dark gold pour with a fluffy head. Plenty of hop bitterness - some iron, capsicum nip, resin. Aroma is pleasant and floral, and it is warm and tingly on the palate. Very good, but not a top shelf IIPA.

22 oz bottle. Pours a hazy orange golden with a small white head. Aroma is citrusy orange and tropical fruit, sweet. Flavor has lots of orange citrus, candied, with hints of pine and tropical fruits; a bit of biscuit. It’s alright, but it leans too much on the orange.

Bottle from McHughs. Pours amber with frothy lasting white head. Lots of spruce, pine, citrus with background of candy floss and bubblegum. Lots of syrup sweetness with a fairly strong bitterness on finish. Abv is there but managed fairly well. Pretty decent iipa

22 oz bottle pours a nice cloudy orange with a small off white head. More of a piney aroma upfront with citrus undertones. Taste is citrus, then a hint of sweetness.....molasses? Great carbonation, it’s smooth for an IPA, hides the ABV really well. This bottle has been in the cold room for 6 months at least, judging by the dust. I kept kicking the rating up on this as I drank it. Very good Imp IPA!

Bottle from Bruisin. Shared with a few. Deep red pour with a frothy off white head. Big sweet caramel forward nose with some fruity hops and citrus. Flavors were sweet, lots of caramel, candied citrus fruit, bittersweet lingering finish. Touch of booze in the finish. Plus mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Maybe a tad hot but a decent big IPA.

Sample @ Malmö Öl & Whisky Festival 150314. Hoppy and caramely, sweet, some alcoholic notes, medium body with an oily texture.
