Lacking nothing, at ten percent alcohol by volume and 95 International Bitterness Units, the Decadent truly represents all that is self indulgent when it comes to drinking beer.

Hazy apple juice color, very thin ring of a white head. Aroma: pine, nectarine, grapefruit, caramel, and alcohol. Mellowed flavor, with moderate bitterness and some cardboard. Toffee, papery finish.

Bomber courtesy of Immy. This beer gets my vote for best presentation, while still in the bottle. Pours a clear orange/copper with thin tan head. Nose is spicey hops and sweet malt. Flavor has a large malt component, sweet and orange with a bitter finish. Thick palate.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber colour with a small white head. Malty hoppy, pine needle aroma. Sweet malty hoppy flavor, with hints of pine needles. Dry malty hoppy finish with a long bitter aftertaste.

Bomber Bottle: Perfect head, with a hazy light copper color. Wonderful floral aroma. Nice balence, carmal malt, alcohol sweetness and piney hops. Mid body. Weak finish, but long. High on alcohol, but seems like the rest of the beer is closer to an IPA than most of the double IPA’s I’ve had.

Bomber bottle from cbkschubert; Thanks Craig; Nose of hops, caramel, and a little fruitiness; claer amber with a small beige head; flavor is nice and hoppy with background bitterness, mixed in with some caramel malt, friutiness, and citrusin a medium body. The finish is mild hop bitterness.

Bomber, looks just like the photo. Clear gold with a small yellowy head. Lightly bitter candied orange and sweet malt nose. Flavor follows, really well balanced. Like Arrogant Bastard lite or something. Very good! A few points for the bottle - Ska has some really cool labels, and the wax adds to the effect.

This is better than the ratings reflect. Hazy orange pour with an oily brown head. Aroma heavily hopped with a good amount of resin. I agree with AlcheistAZ that this borders on a heavily hopped barleywine with the amount of malt. Still has a nice hop bite with the resin and citrus that belongs in an IIPA.

Orange in color with just some hints of brown and a nonexistent head that leaves just a ring around the edge of the glass though it laces nicely. Not as much hop as I expected in the nose for an Imperial IPA. The hop seems to be Simcoe and there is a pretty good malt foundation. This has the flavor and balance of a big or double pale ale or American barleywine but not an IPA. They should have researched this one a little more but it is a good beer. After trying it (and I always try not to read labels or research a beer too much before tyring it so I have no preconceived notions of the beer) I could not believe this is 10% ABV. The alcohol does express itself too much but maybe it will age out. I am going to hold onto my other 2 bottles for awhile.

Blind rating, American Beer Tastings at Sk8viking´s. Pours a clear amber with a tanned head. Smells nice of American hops (amarillo?). Very nice and fresh hoppiness with a sweet caramel backbone. Hoppy finish.

Clear, light amber body with a creamy, off-white head. The aroma is pine, some grapefruit and lots of caramel. The flavor is quite sweet, lots of bread and caramel, resinous pine. Medium body, slighty thin, bitter finish.
