2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a copper color with a small white head. Aromas of hops, citrus, and some sweets. For 10% alcohol itís hidden pretty well, nice hoppy, but still not that great for an Imperial IPA.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Thick sweetness on the nose. This oneís at 10% and the body carries that load of alcohol fairly well. It mixes with the full bodied flavor enough so that it doesnít stand alone totally. Overall a fairly good brew, but the farther in the bottle you do go, the more the alcohol seems to stand out, probably from it warming up. Worth trying. Nice artwork on the label too.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours with a nice and clear amber color with an average, off-white, creamy-pillowy head which does last quite a white and leaves some fairly nice lace. Nose is simple and pleasant; sweet toasted caramel to match pine resins and some grapefruit. Caramelly, almost toffee-like, backbone throughout with grassy, lightly piney hops and some grapefruit found somewhere. Palate is just okay; a bit watery, lightly sticky, medium body, and soft carbonation with minimal warmth noted. Finishes somewhat sweet still with some herbal bitterness to almost match and lingering bitter notes. Not a bad IIPA, but lacks some hop flavors and focus on the hops. It was almost as though you knew the hops were there but they never were presented very well behind the sweetness. Alcohol was well hidden and I was better than the scores would lead on but just wasnít one of the better IIPAís Iíve tried.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Off-white small head that mostly diminished with a fair amount of lacing, transparent, visible carbonation, and an orange hue. Malty, caramel, citrus, grapefruit, hoppy. Ditto for the flavor and the ABV was not overly done by any means as I was surprised being it is 10%. Tingly mouthfeel and medium body. Decent brew, but nothing to knock your socks off.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
22oz bottle shared by Slob. Pour was orange in color, very nice foamy off-white head, excellent lacing, so nice looking. Wow, is this the first SKA to win me over? Nope, aroma goes caramel, pine, citrus, with significant sloppy fruitiness. The flavor is caramel, fruity, some citrus, something also that just nagged at my taste buds (more than just the caramel-ness!). Mouthfeel is moderate in body, nothing special or bad there. Why wax these bottles when the beer isnít high end? SKA is a sub-mediocre brewer. Thanks, Bert, for sharing and hanginí!

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a medium sized tan head with good retention and a solid bit of lace. Color is deep amber and is fairly clear. Nose is piney, juicey but more malty than expected. Body is med/full, lightly oily. Medium sweet crystal malts backed by an under dosed bit of piney hop flavors, lightly fruity with some grainy malt notes as well. 10% ABV.? Really? Finish i sorta sweet, lightly fruity. Not a bad brew just a fairly tame IIPA. Props to FlacoAlto and someone else, dont remember who, i apologize, for hooking me up with this brew.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
650 mL. Clear copper-burnt orange with a large creamy and lasting head. Typical evergreen-grapefruit nose; but less pointed than most DIPAs. Flavor is smooth resin with some citrus cream pie on front, becoming more lemon and herb-grass bitter at the end and in the aftertaste. Palate is medium-bodied, smooth and watery enough on the end to make this dangerously drinkable. The finish falls off a bit to Saaz-like hops, which I donít like so much, but otherwise a fine beer.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Hazy amber, moderate head with decent lacing and retention. Aroma is grapefruit, citrus, caramel, hint of wood. Medium to full body, watery mouthfeel with an alcoholic and watery finish. Not much for hop flavor. Moderate bitterness. Not very enjoyable.
