Lacking nothing, at ten percent alcohol by volume and 95 International Bitterness Units, the Decadent truly represents all that is self indulgent when it comes to drinking beer.

I found this beer milky very still very fruity. Not my favorite beer by SKA. Minimal head, a heavy bitter start and finish- it is an IPA

Not sure of bottle age. Picked it up at Peabody’s last week in Blowing Rock, NC. Pours clear gold with quarter inch white head. "Sweet" aroma - stone fruits, roses, very nice. Taste is sweet caramel malt...not quite to brown sugar, but a butterscotch type characteristic. Really overpowers the hops here. Some lingering and noticeable hop characteristic on the finish. All in all, very interesting.

From a bottle poured a copper color with almost no head. Light hoppy flavor with a quick finish.

On March 15, 2014. Thanks to RobertGBG and thomat! Bottle 650 ml. BB Aug 2011.
Though this is very old, especially for a DIPA, it turns to more of a sort of hoppy Barley Wine with this kind of age to it. Hence I do not feel bad about rating an old bottle, giving if for me very decent score too. Though I have not had this beer fresh, I feel almost certain I enjoyed this beer better with age than I would have a fresh one, given my preference for less bitter beers, and feeling how this tasted with age to it. Barley Wine style > DIPA.
Slight bit hazy copper color, small off-white head. Sweet, bitter almond, hoppy scent. Sweet, caramel, hoppy, bitter taste. Medium to smooth mouthfeel, medium high bitterness.Marmelade and jam, nice.

Bomber from a bottle shop in NC. Good looking beer - amber orange with a thick offwhite head that dissipates down to a thin cap. Aroma is caramel malt, fruity and earthy. The taste is mildly sweet and not all that bitter for a DIPA. The taste is very malty with the fruit shining through as well. Body is medium full and texture is somewhat oily. Overall, a decent beer, but very malt forward; more so than what I’m looking for in a DIPA.

Smörkola, karamell, citrus. En fin grumlig gul/orange ton. Lätt drucken. Lever kvar i munnen en stund. Oerhört vacker flaska.

Lagrad sedan 2012. Humlen har dött sen länge sedan. Lakrits och kola i skön balans.

Very pristine copper pour with an inch of thick offwhite head, lots of bubbles. Earthy citrus hop aroma that’s orangey and bitter, sweet carmel malt too. Average carbonation, oily mouthfeel, finish was pretty clean. Relaly malt forward with doughy and carmel malt flavor, bitter orange pulp and piney/pitchy/resinous hops. Good DIPA but lots of malt.

Bomber, clear rich amber appearance. Aroma is malty with tropical fruit. Taste is bitter orange peel and pine with a big caramel malt backbone.

Bomber. No idea what the label has to do with anything. Pretty, pale marigold orange and an anemic ivory head. I appreciate that the beer is pale, not red or brown as so many 2IPAs are. The nose is rife with tropical fruits and Christmas tree, also toffee malt aroma... but weird plastic and lychee lurk in the shadows. Tastes semisweet and insanely fruity, but not neccesarily hoppy, with a big presence of sultanas and white rum, and hints of orange and MD20/20. Thin razor bitterness and bracing alcohic heft. Creamy without being "thick". The aftertaste combines fruity apple and hot asphalt. Some jagged edges and quality issues throughout. Except for the abv, doesn’t seem especially "imperial".
