Lacking nothing, at ten percent alcohol by volume and 95 International Bitterness Units, the Decadent truly represents all that is self indulgent when it comes to drinking beer.

Clear medium to dark orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, citrus, orange - citrus, peach. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110618]

From bottle #33 at sk8vikings American blind tasting. Pours hazy to cloudy to orange with a lacing white head. Nice dense peach and orangefruity hoppy aroma. Flavour is sweet and floral hoppy. Light yeasty touch. Nice citric and fruity hops finish with a nice subdued sweetness.

An orange beer with an off-white head. The aroma is sweet hoppy, but also with strong malty notes as well as notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with strong caramel notes and lesser citrus notes, as well as a slight burn from the alcohol. But I find the mouthfeel somewhat thin.

UPDATED: JUL 31, 2008 (Bottle 65 cl) Pours a clear, amber golden with an off-white head. Distinct aroma of caramel and citrus. Rather full body with lots of bitter citrus notes. The finish is very dry and bitter - but pleasant. 061006 and 260708

Bottled@Björntasting. Reddish amber colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is fruity and floral hops along with caramel and some slight alcohol. Flavour is being much the same. A rather balanced and nice IIPA for once.

Bottled. Clear golden, small head. Aroma of pine and grapefruit. Sweet and sugary, full bodied with syrupy mouthfeel. Lots of grapefruit hops, that soon turn into resiny bitterness. Lacking in malt character, getting much too sticky.

Hazy deep amber beer, no real head. Crisp IPA. Has a sweet start leading to a deep and rich marmaladey grapefruit hop that isn’t that bitter. Semi dry finish with some aniseed spice.

Beautiful amber color, with a big creamy head. Sweet and fruity aroma (mango? apricot?) Then some herbal hop comes out. Good body structure, with sweet toffee flavor, and a fruity bitterness, but not extreme. Very good.
