Commercial Description:
Lacking nothing, at ten percent alcohol by volume and 95 International Bitterness Units, the Decadent truly represents all that is self indulgent when it comes to drinking beer.

Pours a brownish amber color with very little frothy head. The aroma is a very sweet malt fruitiness with some raisin plum notes and a moderate alcohol presence. Flavor starts very sweet and fruity like the aroma with some hop spiciness that builds during the finish. The alcohol hits during the tail end and lingers for a little while. Medium body and a bit syrupy. Not bad but definitely not a go-to imperial IPA. Good for the price.

I would actually drink this again, which is not something I bandy about with IIPAs. The secret I think is that this has flashes of being an imperial red, which I love. Great orange and apple notes here, with an odd chocolate coming through in the nose. Good balance and obviously very clean water make this very, very drinkable at any temperature.

Bottle with Mike from Cole’s. nice hoppy nose with some malt sweetness. color is amber nice whitish head, flavor is hoppy but not overpowering, i know everyone thinks it should be hoppier but i thought it was one of the most balanced DIPA’S ive had

22 oz - Purchased at Chip’s @ the OBX. Deep coppery orange, creamy off white head. Soft piney peach aromas ride soft waves of sugary caramel. Moderate tropical and fuzzy fruit hop flavors do well to balance on a syrupy brown sugar malt backbone. Full bodied, medium carbonation, bittersweet finish. Not world class, but certainly worthy of giving it a whirl...

Excellent IPA that pours hazy amber with very slight aroma. Definite citrus notes in flavor, nice big hops without being overpowering. Only way you know this is an imperial is once you stand up. It’s on my favorites list now.
