Commercial Description:
Lacking nothing, at ten percent alcohol by volume and 95 International Bitterness Units, the Decadent truly represents all that is self indulgent when it comes to drinking beer.

2008-05-08. Orange copper body with a good sized creamy off-white head, and nice lace. Pleasant sweet orange citrus hops in the aroma, light resiny alcohol. (7+) Flavour starts with orange hops, light astringent orange peel, wave of mild alcohol distracts and mutes the forerunners, but they return and slowly grow stronger, light lingering hops in the finish. Smooth average plus palate. Pleasant, full flavoured without being rip your face off bitter. Restrained, and rather pleasant. I seem to be on the high end of the scale on this one, guess I was just in the mood for it. Bottle shared by Jon Walker

[1332-20080508] 650mL bottle. Woodsy earthy grass aroma has a bit of boozy malt and mild floral and lots of freshly cut orange hops. Hazy, amber orange body with a long-lasting creamy off-white head with small bubbles and some lacing. Bitter orange earthy hops flavour has a solid base of dull citrus and a finish of lemon water. Medium body has a bitter background. Drinkable and mostly hides the alcohol.

Slightly hazy tea color, voluminous piles of tan head. Strong barleywine-esque aroma. Wet piney hops araoma, toffee, prominent ethanol. Sweet, crystal-malty flavor; muddled herby/tea hops attributes. Sweet finish, more prominent EtOH.

Copper colour, the head disappers very fast. Aroma is hoppy with notes of grass, spruce and grass. Flavor is similar, but with perhaps apple flavor too?

Bomber. Pours a slightly hazing dark amber with minimal head. Nose is sweet malt and mild pine. Taste is overly sweet caramel malt, juicyfruit gum and just a touch of resin in the finish. The malt overpowers the hops in this one. Medium mouth feel. Not that good – tastes more like a barley wine.

Hazy amber with medium off white head. Sweet and mild hoppy aroma with caramel notes. Hoppy flavor with grapefruit, caramel and piney notes. Ends bitter.
