COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This seasonal beer is brewed in the Do It Yourself (DIY) spirit along with our friends from Bayfield at the Venture Snowboard Factory. An India Pale Ale, the Euphoria is crafted with piles and piles of Golding hops to provide a unique spicy finish. Great for after hitting the slopes.

Anarchic enlightenment: (1) Brewed in strict accordance to D.I.Y. methodology, the beer of choice for epic powder days. (2) brewed and bottled by ska brewing company, durango colorado using the finest hops, yeast, malted barley and san juan waters.

Can. A- Citrus, pepper. A- Dark copper color, slightly hazy liquid, off white head. T- Slight citrus, pine, pepper, bitter. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, smooth finish. O- Seemed pretty standard. Overall, the flavor was balanced and tasted nice but nothing really stood out, it just seemed like a run of the mill pale ale. Not complaining but not praising either.

Thereís something to be said about a cool can. Iíve never heard of SKA brewing and I had no prior knowledge of Euphoria Pale Ale. Yet, when I saw the sweet blue can in the cooler of my local bottle shop I knew I had to give Euphoria a try. I donít advise choosing beers solely on the criteria of bottle/can aesthetics, but it worked quite well in this case. This pale ale is marvelous to look at. The hazy reddish orange shade is lovely and the head is just a knockout. The aroma isnít huge but itís quite inviting with bread, pine, and citrus. Euphoriaís taste profile is admirably complex. It starts off fresh and mild before becoming spicy, woodsy, and citrusy. Then, the hops mellow out and let you appreciate the aleís malty spine and all of its caramel smoothness. Itís all a ruse, though. The hops return for a bitter, lingering finish. That surprising encore from the hops kept me coming back for more. Euphoria also has a spritzy carbonation that makes it quite refreshing. In all, this ale does a damn good job of justifying its lofty name.

Can at the Exmouth Arms, London on 12 April 2014. Poured a clear amber, with a white head. Very quintessential US Craft pale aroma; malty, citrus hops and pine needles. Creamy malt flavours, with mango and tinned fruit sweetness. Finish was full bodied with candy and melon.

UPDATED: APR 12, 2014 12 ounce can. I didnít notice all the merits that the brewers mentioned in their description. It has an amber appearance and abundant white foam. The aroma is generally malty. The taste is metallic and grainy. Palate is light side of medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Overall, pretty pedestrian.
