Enjoyed a shared 32 oz growler from Total Wine after sampling. Pretty reasonable price at $7.99. Nice, thick, full bodied stout, coffee, toffee, burnt malts, some chocolate, some bitter in dry finish.

12 oz. can. It pours a dark brown/black color with a nice tan head. The aroma has dark chocolate and some roast, maybe a hint of red grape but you have to know it’s there to pick it out. Not much oak. The flavor is nice with some sweeter grape juice notes balanced intense roasted malt and dark chocolate. A little oak in the finish. Full bodied, but it goes down pretty easy. Nice graped stout.

Dark brown pour with medium sized fluffy beige head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, roasted malts and ripe fruit. Taste of chocolate milk, roasted malts, coffee, slightly fruity, and slightly woody and smoky. Creamy mouthfeel, medium to low carbonation, lots going on in this one, excellent beer.

Can, at Beercade Emporium in May. Stoutish color, but illuminated by a bit of purple. Smelly is mostly rich cocoa and roasty malt. A very roasty tasting stout, too, but tempered by some grape juice. Keeps the overall beer kind of sweet and lets the grape play pretty well, in polace of the lactose of a milk stout. Unique!
