3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20Pours a black with an average tan head that fades rather quickly. Aroma is roasted malt, grape, coffee, and a little bit of chocolate. Its a good combination, but it is more subdued. There is nothing held back in the taste, though. It is strong and bold. Lots of chocolate with a good mixture of grape. Woody flavors, a decent amount of coffee, and some vanilla undertones are here as well. It is a little on the sweet side, but not overly so. Medium in body, while the texture is thick and somewhat oily. The aftertaste is mostly chocolate with some of that appealing grape. This one is different, and more unusual that some people might not like it. I think its good. It seems that SKA makes some very interesting stouts.

Aroma is dark malts, mild/medium nuttiness and a hint of dark fruit. The flavor is dark malts, medium grape juice notes, slight musty notes and a mix of sweetness, malts and slight tartness in the finish.

Can. Pours a black color with brown head. Aroma is roasty with mint and sweet grape. Taste is really good. Lots of mint, grape, and roast. This was very good.

Can. Black beer with a small beige head. A bit smokey, coffee, vanilla and dark chocolate aroma. Coffee, dark chocolate flavour. A nice plesent beer :-)

Can. Pours black, tan head. Smells fruity, smokey. Tastes full, very roasty, smokey, fruity, different. Okay. Nothing too exciting.

Pours almost black, with a quick disappearing brown head.
Roasted, spicy, quite fruity aroma, oak, vanilla, coffee beans, Pepsi, banana peel, licorice, wine (or am I just suggesting that?), prunes, caramel.
Off-dry, full bodied, mid bitterness, creamy CO2.
Roasted, spicy taste, lots of oak and licorice root, chocolate, tar, vanilla, notes of dark fruit, blackcurrants, cherries, and a quite ashy finish.
Maybe a bit on the sweet side, but there’s a complexity to this beer that I really like. Maybe the licorice notes actually derive from the Malbec grapes, but who can tell? The Pepsi notes in the aroma put me off a bit, though. (2013-06-03)

Burk från SB. Svart öl med stort, långvarigt oerhört vackert moccafärgat skum. Doftar mörk choklad, röda bär, citrus och rostat kaffe. Alldeles för mycket sötma i smaken. Snaker: Kaffe, mörk choklad, vanilj, röda äpplen, honung, brunt socker.

Old can, hopefully no bpa. Black pour. Smell is pleasant, sweet, sugary, hint of wine. Falvor is again sweet, metallic, decent amount of oak, still bittersweet, slight grape juice.

Can. Almost black colour with a light brown head. Aroma: Malty, lightly roasted, chocolate, licorice, lightly fruity. Flavor: Sweet, roasted, licorice, chocolate, raisins, a bit of wood, maybe a hint of grape juice. Not bad at all, but a bit too sweet.

Black color with small sized brownish head. The aroma is mild; there is some roasted malt, ashes, cheese (Brie). Roasted malt flavor, with some coffee; the mouthfeel is smooth and rather dry; the body seems lighter than expected; the grape added a bit of sourness, but not a fruity evidence; the alcohol can be perceived clearly.
Good smooth stout, nothing special.
