3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Old penny color, firm khaki head. Fantastic lacing, among the finest I’ve ever seen. Dank and floral "green" aroma, nutty malt, salty, chardonnay, wet wool. Fruity flavor and toasty Munich malt with leafy, lemony hops. Citric aftertaste. Hop flavor and bitterness is quite mild. Thin palate. Pleasant beer but far too tame to be called IPA... an American amber at best.

Bottle. The look is clear, amber colored, and has an off white head. The smell is hoppy, piney, resin, fruity, and decent. The taste is a deeper bitterness, fruity, piney, and alcohol.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draught @ Star Bar, Denver.
(Unsure if this is the right entry to place my rating, but it seems to be the latest incarnation of this beer.)
Pours a deep amber, with a white head.
Hoppy, malty aroma, caramel, apricot, spruce.
Off-dry, medium bodied, mid to high bitterness, balanced CO2.
Hoppy, resiny taste, caramel, apricot, orange peel, grapefruit, toffee.
Highly enjoyable. (2013-10-08)

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber. Pours a dark red/copper with a small white head. Strong Pine and resin aroma. Balance up front, more malt than hops. But the bitterness lingers as the hops kick in. Really enjoy the mouth feel of this one, very coating and thick. Points lost for the bold hop flavor to match the wonderful aroma and palate.
