The perfect Mexican lager. Light and refreshing, it really hits the spot after a long day of brutal chainsaw work. Brewed with the finest malt, Saaz hops, yeast, water, and love.

12 ounce can, opened 6/11/14. Some random guy randomly gave me this. If this ends up being my last ever rating, you will know we have a serial killer afoot. Seriously, though, thanks! Pours a clear golden color with a large frothy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of doughy malt, spicy, grassy hops. The taste is corn, pale malt, grassy, fruity hops. Thin bodied. Meh.

This Colorado brewed lager pours a very light yellow. It is neither bubbly (on the tongue, certainly is in the picture) or creamy but in the middle of that spectrum. It is very flavorful. I get grapefruit pith, floral accents and a nice amount of cereal grain as well. This is an impressive set of flavors for such a light beer and puts the Saaz hop right in the spotlight. It certainly made me wish it was in a 16oz can instead of the 12. And it once again disproves the lager is boring myth.

Okay for a lager. Has almost no flavor or color. Very light yellow in color with a white head. Little bitter. Had at Jerry's sandwiches in Andersonville ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Clear yellow brew that smells and taste just like the beer I would drink when Mexico was a safe place to hang(hide) out. Only difference is this didn’t cost me 25 cents a beer but the quality was that of a 25 cent beer. For the price will never ever get this one again but it is 100 degrees today and this beer hit the spot and did remind me of some good times I had almost 30 years ago in Mexico so guess there was some things I liked about it.

12oz can. Quite pale tanned-yellow color. Hyper thin appearance. Foamy white head. The aroma is respectable, classic zesty noble hops in the aroma. Pretty good for what it is. Straightforward lager, semi mimicking characteristics of Mexican Lagers like Negra Modelo Especial, but improving on them in ingredients and overall quality. Almost a hint of cream ale, guess that would be the corn? Pretty good, a decent session beer.

In a word: thin. Thin pale body, with a almost non-exisent head. Thin aroma, slight corn and grain, but you really need to put your nose to it. Thin taste, astringent and almost soapy. Finish is quick and crisp. Not bed, just not much there.

12oz can, purchased 6/22/14 from Lukas Liquor in Missouri. Date on the can reads 6.11.14. One of like 20 out of code beers I accidentally bought at that place. Hopefully this one is doing ok. Almost entirely clear golden color. Good finger of white head initially. Nice active-looking carbonation. Some very fine particles are visible in the body if you look closely. Some loose lace. Light to medium body, kind of a full feel. Lighter carbonation, with a kind of abrupt texture to it. Light dry finish. Kind of a light tangy taste, light dry bite to it. Moderate sweet. Light bitter. Bready, lightly peppery flavor. Ok kind of mexican style lager.. In that it’s just kind of bready and corny. Better texture and hop character than your typical macro mexican.

A Corona in a can from a different brewery! A very refreshing beer, especially if you are on a beach somewhere!

Nice basic lager. Golden pour. Sweet cereal grain with a touch of lemon. More fruity than many lagers.

Draft. Corny nose, really strong and bad. Pours a brilliantly clear light yellow. Taste slightly sweet and almost vegetal. Almost a harshness to it. Not really a clean lager not that quenching flavorless garbage macro BMC. Which makes it a bad craft lager.
