2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Can. Pours crystal clear, fizzy ok white head, straw yellow color. The smell is light, hops, grass, slightly waterness, and light malt. The taste is malts, clean, crisp, light, and some grass hops. Tasted good and went down easy in this 100 degree Texas heat.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Not a overly heavy flavor but its enough to compete with beer of the same caliber. Would do great on a beach or outside when its hot.

2.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Poured from a can. Nice pale straw color, slight head very little lacing. Cereal, bread and Saaz hops that tastes a lot like most cheap American lagers that I’ve drank over the years, only this one may be slightly better than the Budweisers and Millers of the world... but at the price point for a sixer, I’d arguably go with one of the latter next time.
Ska does some good beers, but this one was pretty average (although I wasn’t expecting anything mind-blowing from a lager).

Can- Pours a clear light golden color with a good head that fades to some lacing. Mild aroma of citrus with fresh grain and some malt sweetness. Taste of citrus and malt sweetness with some fresh grain. Mild bitterness and a clean finish. Light body, crisp, smooth and refreshing. Good summer beer that goes down easy. Nothing fancy just a nice relaxing beer without all the hype.

3.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can: Babyfood pear, stewed apple, cinnamon nose. Huh? Milky yellow, thin head. Sweet and musty pears. Light caramel and hazelnut finish. What the hell was that? What a bizzare lager, if that ’s really what it is. I sense that this is a weird inside joke or prank by the brewer. It drinks like a blonde ale.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Tasted from a 12 oz can in a Beers of the World mix-pack, into a nucleated pint glass. Poured a light golden color with weak white foam which quickly dissipated but left some nice lace. Pleasant aromas of mild malts, faint noble hops (Saaz according to the description.) I’d agree: they really did brew "a perfect Mexican lager." Some nice residual malt-sweetness with a perfect balance of tangy, slightly spicy hops bitterness/flavor. Crisp, refreshing lager characteristics, but a longer-lasting fruity and bittersweet aftertaste than usual. In the same realm as Corona, Modelo, Tecate, Sol, Dos Equis, etc, but vastly better (and in a can!) Maybe more of them could taste this good if they dialed-down the corn? I got it at Christmas, but I’ll look for it again in the summer. A much lighter beer than I typically prefer, but I must admit it’s nicely done.
