Sample at Petrol Station. Pours a clear pale yellow color with a medium thin white head that evaporates quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of grainy malt and hops. Light-bodied with flavors of mild grassy hops, malt and grain. The finish is mildly bitter with a short herbal hops aftertaste. Average overall.

The body is a very pale yellow, filled with lively small bubbles. The head was entertaining, huge and collapsing in chunks, leaving big gobs of lace. The aroma? Not much - a very light pale malty sweetness. The flavor? Also not much - Watery with a light sweetness. It has a very clean finish. Like water. Why?

12 oz. can poured to a fest goblet, displaying a clear & bright straw color, with white, silk & bubbles head foam, and spots & strands of lacing. The nose was light spice, light grain, lemon, with a touch of apple. Light bodied, the taste offered earthy & peppery hop bitterness with some lingering quality to it, seltzery effervescence with a hint of sulfur, but not much malt backing, so the texture came off a bit watery. Still crisp, and quite sessionable.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Much better than I thought this was going to be originally, pungent aroma of saaz hops and a bit of hay, slight sweetness. Taste is of sweet creamed corn, hay, and then melting away into climbing bitterness of saaz. Light carbonation and decent mouthfeel for a lager, hell not bad really.

Pretty good, as lagers go. Bready malt and a touch of floral hops. Went down smooth while floating in the pool and led to, uh... better things.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Draft at Jerry’s. Pale gold with big, creamy, white head, fine lacing / Somewhat bright, unexpected nose of lemon, pineapple, spice, cream / Light to medium body, a hint thin but still creamy & resinous, some sweetness & fruitiness, hoppy with excellent balance and a lot of dryness in the middle, and lightly bitter finish / Elegant, fruity flavors of pear, lemon, pineapple, cream, resin, grass, coriander / Not like any lager I’ve ever had, but it is a terrific, summer, session pale ale.

Pours clear yellow with a large white head that falls quickly. Smells mild with a subtle spiciness. Taste is mostly clean with a tingle of bitterness. Light-bodied with a wet texture and fizzy mouth-carbonation, SKA Mexican Logger finishes clean, mostly, with a slight metallic note.

Watery. Very watery. Like drinking a Corona Light. Taste is nonexistent. Very light beer.

Pours very pale straw with a medium head. Herbal hop and bready aromas and maybe a touch of sulfur. Very subtle malt sweetness and maltiness, ends very crisp with the herbal/spicy hops returning on the finish

This is the same Co. that puts out the most excellent Modus Hoperandi, and puts out this embarrassment of a brew! If you enjoy Bud you will like this one. No flavor what so ever! Malty and awful! Watered down! A most unpleasant drinking experience to say the least. Avoid this one like the plague! Shame on you SKA Brewing Co. for this lame attempt at a brew!!!
