The perfect Mexican lager. Light and refreshing, it really hits the spot after a long day of brutal chainsaw work. Brewed with the finest malt, Saaz hops, yeast, water, and love.

Clear yellow brew that smells and taste just like the beer I would drink when Mexico was a safe place to hang(hide) out. Only difference is this didnít cost me 25 cents a beer but the quality was that of a 25 cent beer. For the price will never ever get this one again but it is 100 degrees today and this beer hit the spot and did remind me of some good times I had almost 30 years ago in Mexico so guess there was some things I liked about it.

Can. Tastes like musky malt, faint citrus hops, a hint of sweet fruit. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like musky malt, lime, and faint citrus hops.

Picked up at Honeymoon Lake campground via beer cap attached to a bottle gift. Grassy and dry with a light yet sizzling bitterness, grains and light pleasant sweetness. Yup. This is a lager. This could be Brewhouse but Iím not about to compare nor will anyone on Earth.

Nice for the style, but does not transcend it. Crisp clean sweet lager bite and a dash of hops. Not the best, not the worst.

6/25/2015: This beer was EVERYWHERE and I actively avoided this beer for quite a bit of my Southwest Colorado. I finally caved in on the Durango and Silverton Railroad and then ended up drinking several cans and then again on draugh later in the trip. This is a really good beer! I love the the name, everything about the can design, and the beer is really, really tasty. It is light and refreshing, citrusy (a touch of lime) and a touch grassy. The malt is crisp and clean and the hops arenít overdone. This beer tastes great without fruit, but a slice of lime works extremely well with the beer not to cover up the flavor, but to blend harmoniously with it to create a synergistic flavor and experience. Iím actually surprisingly pleased with this offering. Cans and draught.

I mean, yeah, itís a good Mexican style lager. Clean and crisp, not to heavy on the flavors. Light and a good meal time beer.

Grand Junction, Co - College Liquors - 12 oz can. Sparkling, light golden pour -quickly fading off-white head. Hints of grain in the aroma, otherwise prett much neutral. Light nuttiness, grainy profile, lager blandness. Crisp enough mouthfeel.

Tap. Poured a clear amber color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate grain and floral aroma. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Worth having.

Tap @ Brewery pours golden with slight head. Clean, hoppy, pale malt flavors. Overall, like a Corona but with more malty flavor.

12 ounce can, opened 6/11/14. Some random guy randomly gave me this. If this ends up being my last ever rating, you will know we have a serial killer afoot. Seriously, though, thanks! Pours a clear golden color with a large frothy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of doughy malt, spicy, grassy hops. The taste is corn, pale malt, grassy, fruity hops. Thin bodied. Meh.

This Colorado brewed lager pours a very light yellow. It is neither bubbly (on the tongue, certainly is in the picture) or creamy but in the middle of that spectrum. It is very flavorful. I get grapefruit pith, floral accents and a nice amount of cereal grain as well. This is an impressive set of flavors for such a light beer and puts the Saaz hop right in the spotlight. It certainly made me wish it was in a 16oz can instead of the 12. And it once again disproves the lager is boring myth.
