Rich amber color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of malt, floral/pine hops, light fruit, & citrus; Flavor of caramel malt, pine hops, and citrus (notably grapefruit); Finish is fairly bitter; Old school IPA - but still works.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Amber colored. Malt sweetness, with fairly dank and mildly citrus hop profile: strong body without being too sweet. Good stuff.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
355ml can. Clear deep orange colour with a two finger slightly off-white head with fairly good retention. Aroma is really hoppy, piney, grapefruit, citrus, zest. Taste like the aroma is very hoppy and piney, lots of citrus and grapefruit, sweet malt, caramel. Quite a bitter finish and a touch of alcohol. This is a great IPA.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
The beer is ready to go in the bright red color. The foam is white with small bubbles. The foam disappears leisurely quickly and leave fine traces. Aromas of tropical fruit and hops. A little malt, citrus, spicy pine and orange peel and light caramel. Small smells of bread. The flavors go in hops and bitterness with bitterness a bit thin. Tropical fruits where lemon come first, followed by a little orange. Some malt, a little earthy and sweet tones. Lightly toasted and a little caramel. Good roundness with medium long finish that does not have too much hops or bitterness. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Dry surface, small roughness. The beer is not a real hop bomb with high bitterness. It has a good round balance that will not be too much.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Can ( from the can). Mean looking yellowy head in the aperture. Smells like sharp vibrant pineapple rock. Oh yeah, it’s big sweet maltiness up front but in a more smooth and restrained way than I’ve ever seen before. It gives way at just the right time to a glorious fresh hoppy pineapple with a subtle resinous aromatic pine which seems to rise like ether and underpins it all beautifully. This has that world class unfolding quality that I get with Bathams and Sculpin which keeps me going back for sup after sup. CRIMINAL at 6.8. Lovely branding too. Beer good enough to make you emotional.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Really pouring get golden with a white head. Nose is hoppy rich with pine and citric notes. Taste is also rich with a lot of citrus and some pine. Taste and palate comes along and leaves a sweet but still bitter note with a lot of hops along.

This beer is not for me. To try and describe the smell/flavour I would say old orange peel, or the same flavours I find in both lagunitas and sierra Nevada. So if you like either of those beers this is up your street.
