COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It’s Old Man Bitter

A mix of citrus and pine that will remind you of the time you went on a vision quest with your Native American cousin and you woke up in a pine grove full of grapefruit trees.

An American-style India Pale Ale with a deep golden-orange color. Bitter and hoppy, with a surprisingly smooth finish.

Modus Hoperandi, an IPA sitting at 6.8% ABV and 65 IBUs.

Can. Light hops in the aroma, pine and citrus. Pine, wood and citrus in the flavour, nice maltiness. (Landverk, 05.04.2015)

On tap. Citrus, light pine and caramel. Crisp with light bitterness. A bit sweet in the middle. Solid IPA finish.

At a tasting, stable long lasting creamy off white creamy head, clear deep orange color, aroma od pine and herbs with some fruit, flavor of orange and lemon with a strong herbal shrubby bitterness, with a hint of graininess in the back, quite nice and drinkable.

Pours a red colour with aromas of pine and slight citrus. Kinda faded hop aroma. Mostly caramel on the nose to be honest. Flavor also tells me this beer has been a little too long in the can and not stored cold. Loads of caramel and a nicely balanced bitterness. Too bad all the hops are gone here, tho...

This was poured into a nonic pint glass. The appearance was a nice bronzed caramel color with a slim finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipiated within seconds. Stringy lacing speckled the glass here and there. The smell had a sweet to slightly spiced citrus and earthy caramel running in and out. The taste was moderately sweet and sticky citrus with a semi-dry citrus aftertaste and lightly noted dry citrus finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation hits decently as an AIPA and leaves a moderately harsh bitter feel. Overall, this was a pretty good AIPA that I would have again.

Can. Amber with beige head. Aroma of lime, peach, grass. Malty and sweet at first with a very dry bitter finish. Almost goes all Campari on me...which is good, when I drink Campari. Here it seems to lack some depth and complexity in the bitterness. Still pretty decent.

Digg aroma av barnåler og grapefrukt. Fresh! Fyldig med dyp sødme og markant bitterhet, men godt balansert. Flott øl. 27.03.15 Havnabakken.

Can, aroma piney grapefruit with hints of sweaty cheese, nice and malty, not too bitter light hop astringency. A well crafted beer

Aroma starts with straw and picks up citrus as well. Gives somewhat of a dry and mostly bitter finish with hints of citrus lingering. Decent beer.
