COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It’s Old Man Bitter

A mix of citrus and pine that will remind you of the time you went on a vision quest with your Native American cousin and you woke up in a pine grove full of grapefruit trees.

An American-style India Pale Ale with a deep golden-orange color. Bitter and hoppy, with a surprisingly smooth finish.

Modus Hoperandi, an IPA sitting at 6.8% ABV and 65 IBUs.

Lovely American IPA with a high bitter note and some grape and pine perfectly balanced. The color is so nice this deep orange. Topped off with a nice white head.

It's a decent ipa... I remember loving it 4 years ago. It's got a beautiful look. Decent aroma and good hop flavor but I wish it had a cleaner hop taste ...smell...feel... I'll try again tommorrow.. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a dark orange with a narrow foam head. Citrus and pine aroma with not much carbonation. Bitter hops front that turns into a gentle citrus. Bitter follow-through isn’t as harsh as it seems at first. Caramel bitter aftertaste as expected for style.

Aluminum can from Sprout’s: Poured a medium copper colored liquid topped with a thick fluffing of foam head. Aroma is mild with hops and I wasn’t able to pick up on much of a nose on this IPA despite it not expiring until another 3 months from now. The drink taste a little sweet with only a minor hop presence that only minimally adds a touch of bitterness. I can’t believe a 6-pack cost me over $13, these microbrewery companies soon will charge $20 for a 6-pack and think it’s okay.

I’m pretty sure I’ve had this beer before and forgot to rate; very orange color, good adhesion/lacing, big head fades down to a little collar, nice aroma. Not plain but not particularly exciting, pleasant mouthfeel, very good overall for the style. I’d order it again.

Can @Our Black Heart, Candem, London. Nov 2013.
In short: american IPA.
Pours hazy orange with nice thick white head. Pine, resins, fruity aromas. Medium body, average carbonation, crispy texture. Taste follows the nose. Quite enjoyable.
