COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It’s Old Man Bitter

A mix of citrus and pine that will remind you of the time you went on a vision quest with your Native American cousin and you woke up in a pine grove full of grapefruit trees.

An American-style India Pale Ale with a deep golden-orange color. Bitter and hoppy, with a surprisingly smooth finish.

Modus Hoperandi, an IPA sitting at 6.8% ABV and 65 IBUs.

Can. Pours a reddish orange with a good, yellowish, clean, smotoh head. Aroma is pithy, resinous, caramel, pine. Taste is much of the same, pith, resinous, pine. Some caramel, dry, fairly bitter, a tad of fruity sweetness. Refreshingly light in the mouth with medium carbonation. A very nice performance.

Slightly darker in color, caramel, citrus, pine, spruce, aroma is very appetizing, good solid hoppy IPA, nothing out of the ordinary here.

@ Havregatan. Burk (355ml) från Systembolaget (24:-). Humlig och fruktig, något maltig, tallbarr och grapefrukt, ganska hög sötma, karamell, tydlig beska, medelfyllig. Avslutningen är torr, besk och humlig.

Amber color. Moderate hop resin. Lots of harsh hop bite, more towards the pine side with citrus underneath. Tastes like C hops. Nice aroma hinting at caramel. Fairly dry, somewhat thin/flat flavor due to the harshness.

Can shared at Capitol Beer & Tap Room. Pours light amber with a modest off-white head and a fruity aroma. There is a hearty caramel malt flavor with a carbonated bitter finish. Very nice.

Dåse: Orange klar øl med et lille skumhoved. Dejlig duft af mango og en msule citrus. Let karbonering. God bitterhed men lidt tynd mundfylde. Smagen er lækker vestkyst ipa med masser af tropisk frugt. Rigtig god øl.

Backlog. Tried it canned a couple of times. For me this is a standard west-coast IPA, it doesn’t really linger with me but neither does it offend me.

From a can, on the train, on a sunny May evening - very near perfect. Rich malty palate, with butterscotch toffee. Excellent creamy texture. Big hit of resinous bitter hops in the finish.

Can thanks to Eric, about a month and a half before best by date, not particularly fresh. Pours clear copper with big, pillowy khaki head. Decent retention and significant amounts of pillowy lace. Aroma is resinous, piney, bitter, mildly skunky hops with a mild sweet malt background. Flavor is piney, resinous, lightly citrus hops, with a skunky, resinous hop, and mild malt finish. Soft to moderate carbonation, medium body and smooth texture. Should rerate with fresher can.
