Itís Old Man Bitter

A mix of citrus and pine that will remind you of the time you went on a vision quest with your Native American cousin and you woke up in a pine grove full of grapefruit trees.

An American-style India Pale Ale with a deep golden-orange color. Bitter and hoppy, with a surprisingly smooth finish.

Modus Hoperandi, an IPA sitting at 6.8% ABV and 65 IBUs.

12 oz can poured into a pint glass. Deep amber with a frothy off-white head. Aroma is big citrus, grass, and pine, with just a touch of sweet caramel malt. Taste is quite bitter, with a touch of balancing sweetness. Medium bodied with crisp carbonation, finishes dry. A very good IPA!

Thanks MMDan! From the can, pour is coppe with a medium foamy off white head. aroma is caramel with herbal (almost licorice like) and piney hop. Flavour is medium caramel malt, piney and citrus pithy bitterness. considering ibu is only 65, itís actually more bitter than I was expecting. Still very drinkable brew.

Keg at DAda, Sheffield. Amber, with beige lacing. Cascade aroma and flavour notes. A very well balanced IPA - great bitterness and perfect levels of sweetness. Rich, fizzy and flavoursome.

Amber/copper color with a big off-white head. Hoppy aroma of grapefruit and pine along with caramel malts as well. Great combination of citrusy, piney hops and toasted malt. Good drinkability.

Pours a deep amber, little head, aroma pine and passion fruit but not overwhelming. Decent, full mouthfeel, finishes with hop bitterness. Decent IPA.

Tasty but pretty average us style ipa. What to say? Nice hops, nice flavour all the elements in place but nothing zingy for me
