3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Keg at North Bar, Leeds. Pours a hazy Orange, finger of head with decent retention and lacing. Aroma is big, pungent hoppy citrus-ness. Pine too. Taste is very bitter, brash. Some citrus and pine notes but mostly just HOPS. An assault. Medium-thin mouthfeel, nice carbonation, long bitter finish. Good, but too bitter for me to really enjoy.

When I first grabbed this beer it was awesome because at the time IPA/APAís didnít really come in cans. Great brew for boating and camping.pours a clear orange brown with 3 fingers of fizzy white head. Nose and taste are a mix of big citrus hops and resiny pine cone hops. This ones all about the hop. Quite tasty

A very well balanced IPA. A darker golden with good hoppiness and a nice blend of malts. Very easy to drink.

3.5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Acquired this in a trade. Bottled on 12/09/11 Poured into a duvel glass.
A - half a finger head. Dark amber beer. Hazy with lots of cloudiness.
S - totally hoppy. Intense pine scent with some grapefruit and melon scents as well.
T - standard double IPA taste but the hops are really weak. Probably should be fresher before I rate.
M - Tons of carbonation. Easy to drink!
O - I love canned IPAs. This is probably excellent fresh.

One of the best beers Iíve had from a can for sure. Nice big hop aroma of citrus, oranges and mandarin. Has good bitterness, but all in balance. Pretty much classic US IPA.
