3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: NOV 3, 2010 Draft at the KC F.S. and again at Marfields. Really fine IPA. Darker than expected color with a medium white head and a little lacing. The bitterness is nice, a little towards the piney side but definitely not overpowering. well done.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: APR 28, 2014 Can. Aroma is tons of fresh floral hops with a nice malt backbone. Notes of pine, pepper, and citrus stand out. Palate is perfect, a little dry with a strong bitter aftertaste. Flavor brings some of the malt forward. Very impressive for a standard ipa.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 ounce can thanks to grant. This appears to be about 3 weeks old according to the date on the bottom. The aroma on this is pretty nice with a good amount of citrus orange and piney hop bouquets. Malt sweetness is subdued. Aromatic. Transparent copper body with some slight amber hues present. Nice off-white head and good lacing along with good head retention. Starts immediately with piney, herbal hop bitterness. Light toasted and caramel malts in the middle. A bit burnt. Finishes fairly dry with more earthy, herbal, and grapefruit hop bitterness that lingers. This is pretty darn good, and probably the best canned IPA on the market.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
From can- dark amber body, frothy head, with aromas of citrus, pine and hops. Slightly sweet with caramel malts shading the grapefruit citrus and resin notes, with a big blast of hops through the finish. Just a tad off balance but a big, malty IPA with lots of hops and citrus lingering.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Can. Poured a darker amber color with a two finger white head. Left lots of lacing as it went. Aroma was citrus and grapefuit. A sweeter flavor. Well balanced ipa. A good one.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours amber/red into the glass with a fluffy offwhite head that lasts. A constant stream of bubbles is coming up from the bottom of the glass. Aroma is citrusy with a bit of malt sweetness. Nice creamy mouthfeel accompanies the bitterness of this brew.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Served from a can. The appearance is a nice golden brown. A resin hop flavor to this one with some medicinal or floral notes. Not too bad of an ipa.

2.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Amber in color. Solid amount of hops. Mostly floral. May be an overhyped beer. Solid table IPA in my opinion.
