It’s Old Man Bitter

A mix of citrus and pine that will remind you of the time you went on a vision quest with your Native American cousin and you woke up in a pine grove full of grapefruit trees.

An American-style India Pale Ale with a deep golden-orange color. Bitter and hoppy, with a surprisingly smooth finish.

Modus Hoperandi, an IPA sitting at 6.8% ABV and 65 IBUs.

UPDATED: DEC 28, 2013 Awesome hop nose, citrus slight pine. Taste also citrus and pine. Good aromatic mid, some late bitterness but smooth finish. I think I initially overrated this early in my ratings. Still good but not as high as initially rated. Big hop nose, mango, pine, resin. Taste mango and pine up front, mid sweet. Bitter starts mid palate and lasts through long finish.

Wow this is rat that high. Aroma is like a barely wine. Taste is like a barely wine. Pretty much everything about this other than the extra hops screams barely wine. Tastes supe boozy. Super heavy mouth feel. Candy malty resin. This is an absolute no.

Can. Poured a copper amber color with nice carbonation. The aroma has hints of fruit with floral notes and a good hop aroma. The taste is hoppy with a pleasant mouth feel and a nice crisp, hoppy bitter finish. This is an excellent IPA with strong character.

Can. Large fizzy head that mostly lasted. Light cloudy golden/yellow color. Aroma of fruit, citrus, grain, caramel and floral notes. Medium body with light dry texture. Moderated bitter flavour with some counter bitterness. Light lingering bitter finish.

Dark rusty orange colour. Piney hops and citrus fruits in the aroma. The flavour has juicy and bittersweet fruity tones but also some caramelly, malts too. Smooth.

Interesting try in the "Black sheep" in Dublin. Not as extaordinary as "Of foam and fury" but carries an interesting mixture of hoppinnes and sweetness. The best part about it is the after taste - very balanced so u can carry on for long with this one.

Deep rich color with a good balance of bitterness that fills your palate with just enough grapefruit citrus and a dry smoothness on the front of the tongue.

Can at Shuga’s. Tastes like nutty malt, hop resin, pine hops, and some grapefruit. Light/medium body and low carbonation. Smells like strong pine and light grapefruit hops

Tap at Falling rock. Copper color and a very thick, lacing head. Bitterr, some pine. Not much fruit at all but more malt than many others. Good beer.
