from the brewery Dark brown beer with ruby highlights. Light mocha colored head that is a thick collar and film. Nose is dark fruits, mostly cherry, chocolate, coffee, and slightly nutty. Earthy coffee taste with nuts, dark fruits, and chocolate. Slightly bitter coffee. Slightly sour in the front and earthy, bitter coffee with sweet chocolate finish. Somewhat thin but does get better when warm. Medium bodied and medium carbonation. Workable

Aroma of dark fruit, with roasted grain notes. A brown pour with no head or lacing. The taste is slightly sweet with notes of dark fruit, and some coffee bitterness in the finish. Medium mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Overall, to me, this is a bit watery in body and taste for an Imperial Stout. Ok, but will not buy again.

Bottle. Almost clear, dark brown liquid with small light tan head. Aroma of chocolate, fruity yeast esters, sweet dried fruit, licorice, light booze, dark bread and some light smoke. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with notes of licorice, dried fruit and pumpernickel. Light to medium bodied with low to medium carbonation. Quite OK, but a bit boring and one-dimensional.

Chocolatey and malty with super high gravity. A nice creamy pour with a bit of cherry on the nose and finish. Great beer to share, with lots of interesting stuff going on.

Pours dark and black with a big brown head. Nose is roasted coffee, chocolate, toffee, pie crust. Taste is sweet mostly but has a great bitter backbone to balance that leaves a near perfect aftertaste. For some reason I really like this beer. It has a nice after taste that sticks with you.

650ml bottle. Pours very dark brown with a small head. Aroma is dark fruity coffee and Coke. Taste has Coke, dark fruity malts and some coffee. A little chocolate.

Draft at Easy Tiger. Deep brown with tan head. Rich chocolately malt aroma. Lots of sweet creamy chocolate flavour with a little dark fruits and molasses. It’s a pretty decent porter.

En riktig kraftfull Imperial Porter. Mycket smak av choklad, karamell, farinsocker, kola. Jämn, en aning krämig med en tunn beska. Välbalanserad men ett uns för söt.

Bottle. Dark brown, almost black colour, with a small tan head with some lacing. Aroma is roasted malt, caramel. Light, almost watery. Flavour is rather weak, a bit of bitterness, malt, chocolate. Not a bad beer but disappointing. Too weak and tasteless.
