Black ok head for a imperial stout. The aroma has Coffee, and chocolate also found in the tase. I like the Palate slightly oily and smooth and then a warm aftertaste and fell. A nice porter...

Bottle 650ml. Sharp aroma of metal, toffee and caramel. Taste: a bit sour, yet sweet. Strong chocolate flavors and a lot of toffee in the aftertaste

Sampled at an ESBLS tasting. It poured a dark brown color with a tan head. The aroma was notes of cola, chocolate, dark fruit and roastiness. The taste was creamy, with a hint of chocolate, some lactose, coffee beans and other dark fruits. Very nice.

Bottle, pours black with medium tan head. Aroma is coffee, some chocolate, some dark fruits. Taste is like aroma, a bit watery and some acidic notes. Ok porter.

Sample at a tasting. Strong smell of chocolate but also some dark malty bread. Similar taste. Some malty sweetness that stays in your mouth for a while, but it doesn’t feel too sweet.

Keg at North Bar, Leeds. Pours an inky black with a ruby tinge, thin layer of foam. Aroma is cherry bakewell, milky, perfume, hints of coffee, cinnamon, and a little booze. Taste is surprisingly rather subtle, definite cherry in there, red fruits, milky/creamy, with a nice smack of bitter coffee on the finish. Medium-full body, low carb. Something seems missing overall, but this is still very good - a nice, relatively subtle imperial porter.

Bottle. Muddy brown with a small tan head. Nose is lightly tart, vinous, some roast, ash, cocoa. Similar flavor, slightly acidic mouthfeel, light smoke, red fruits, roast. Not quite as bad as I remember it but still not worth the money.
