May 2010: My third and final beer at Mia’s Lounge in Flagstaff during my road trip.
A pint glass of a copper/amber/orange (not red) beer, no haze, clear and almost bright. The head was a thin off-white bubble covering which tried to stay the distance.
The smell was a mini mix of hops and malts, as was the taste. In fact the whole experience was a mini mix of flavours without any heavy substance.
Pleasant, but no world beater.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20 BarossaLuke (434) - AUSTRALIA - JAN 27, 2012
Lovely amber and orange colour. Aroma has caramel notes with some great light crystal malt aromas. Not a lot of hops in the aroma. A medium bodied beer with great malt flavour and some nice but light richness to the flavour. the hops are there, this is a well bittered and well attenuated beer. This combines makes the beer a very drinkable one.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 seymour (779) - Saint Louis, Missouri, USA - DEC 29, 2011
Tasted from bottle at The Handle Bar in Saint Louis, Missouri. Poured a transparent, reddish, deep amber color with average off-white head. Aromas of bread, caramel, light hops. Flavor was rich, bready, caramelly malt-sweetness with mild hops and fruity ale yeast esters. Light-medium body, creamy mouthfeel, average carbonation, fairly long-lasting bittersweet aftertaste. I’m glad Ratebeer categorizes this as an American Amber Ale, despite the bottle’s "Red Ale" label. Even though it has some reddish color, it is not roasty, tart, and dry like a true Irish Red Ale. If comparing to historical beer styles, the aromas and flavors are pretty close to Oktoberfest/Märzen. Nothing extreme or surprising here, but Pinstripe is a tasty everyday drink.
